You should be able to move your Config folder with the GX settings over to your FAT32 USB Device. Did you change the custom paths within the GX options to point to your HDD? (without the SD card in). It should auto save the settings to USB:/ with no SD card inserted.

Yes, removed the SD card and then changed the paths and it comes up with a message "No SD-Card inserted! Insert an SD-Card to save"

Got it now, my stupid mistake. I'd not copied the config folder to the USB HD, noticed that in your message.

    Thanks

I installed that exact wad to test r938. Get the bad magic error. Currently testing other revisions and it works fine with either Rev 19 or 20. Cile, are you sure r938 works for you? Delete hermes and try it.

I get mixed results with r938 and cIOSx rev 19 and 20 using different base IOS. I think it may have something to do with the HDD being used. Anyway, I did not have this problem when using Hermes cIOS222 v4 with any revision so that is what I recommend using if you are using FAT32 loading from GX (I think I read that someone from the GX team recommended this as well). I tested the r937 version and did not recieve any errors (even with cIOSx) so I will update the guide to include that.

Cile, I got the same results as Krank. Do you use GX v938 ? I don't see that listed on your sig, I also see Hermes v4/v5.1 listed

I got GX v938 working as soon as I installed Hermes.

I think I will be using Cfg USB Loader though.
Although GX seems to rip games a little faster and
looks nicer and easier to use (from what little I've used it) especially if it will be used by little kids, it always crashes/freezes after exiting a game, and it takes a few seconds longer to load games.

BTW, where do you get CFG v58 ? I though v57 was the latest.

Click the "Install Cfg USB Loader" In my signature. You can also theme CFG and change the look.
