Also how do i make fat32 more than 30 gb. I know for my PS3 I had to partition 30 gb to fat 32. Also i now have 4 partitions on my hard drive will CFG read them all and load my games.

why do you have so many partitions?
You can make one large one in FAT32 and put all your games on it via WiiBackupManager.

I suggest you start over following this guide properly. You dont need so many partitions. Unless you want them.

I have a 1tb drive. I managed to format it FAT32 in 2 partitions. One is 920GB the other is 10GB.

If you give more info about your HDD issue someone might be able to help.
I was trying to use a Seagate 1.5 TB external drive that I did disable the spin down function. I formatted 400 GB into one primary partition with fat32. tried loading in usb loader gx, some times would see games but black screen, other times usb loader would go to black screen from HBC or forwarder. Then tried Wiiflow, straight to black screen. I am running 4.1u system menu & I id put latest ios updates to play black ops, metroid other M, latest HBC wiht ios58, so any ideas or if u need more info, let me know.

The only things I can think of is that you either didn't set your partition as active or you didn't put the apps and wiiflow directorys on the same partion. Make sure its wii flow 2.2 and above.

This is what I had to do to get it to work.

    VGM out...

A little confused on what to do... I followed mauifrog's 4.3u soft mod guide (which came with the cfg loader. I formatted my Iomega 1tb hdd following this guide to from a ntfs to a full fat32.. My question/concern is that as I was reading through this thread there are quite a few people having issues with the apps being loaded onto the USB instead of the sd. I used Easeus to format both the sd and hdd... I set both to primary.. i think one should be logical but im not sure which one... I want to put the apps on the sd and my back ups on the hdd. also, which loader/forwarder is best to use? Sorry if these are newbish questions... I just want to do this all right...

Should be no problems loading apps when finished if the drive is compatible. Use whatever forwarder you want, if you don't like the one you install just uninstall it and try a different one.

Your HDD should be active and primary.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks for this, easy to understand, guide. Im having one problem though. My CFG loader kicks me back to the wii menu on every launch. What can be the problem?

    formatting to fat 32

perhaps you should note in the tutorial that if you have a xbox 360 with a newer dash (hacked or not) it will format drives up to 2TB to fat32 if you make it use for memory card. If you don't want to use it for memory card then just delete xbox360 files it creates (which will be up to 16GB in size total)
