CFG asks "select WBFS device", with the choice of SD or USB, I choose USB and then it does the countdown.
I let wii backup manager create the directories, directory structure is usb:\wbfs\Tetris Party Deluxe [STEETR]\STEETR.wbfs

Just to check, I wiped the drive and repartitioned (fat32 primary active) with EPM, and it still doesn't work

Should give you the option to select the partition FAT1...if not then something is wrong. I can't think of anything other then the HDD....but post a screenshot of your FAT32 drive from Disk Management.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I can't think of anything else it would be...you said it worked when formatted to WBFS right? No clue why it won't work with FAT32.

Well thanks for trying, I'll just go back to using a WBFS partition.

    (1 format later)
Ah, this is interesting: it still doesn't work!
I'm not sure if 222 is supposed to load the games from WBFS, but it isn't working.
But 249 is working fine with WBFS
So when I said "it was working before I formatted", I should have said "it was working with 249 before I formatted".

So I guess there's something up with my system and 222. Now that we know it's definitely a problem with 222 - do you have any thoughts?

Very odd that it won't work with 222, it will load from FAT or WBFS with no problems. Did you try reinstalling it? Try the 249 version of CFG with cIOSx rev 19 or 20 (when FAT32 formatted).

If you want to try again, that would be a good way to determine if using 222 is your problem (format to FAT, install cIOSx rev 20 use the 249 version of Cfg).

Yes, I reinstalled it earlier today. Both 222 and 223. No change to syscheck though.

That's a good idea, can I simply downgrade cIOSx rev 20 back to 17 afterwards by just running the 17 installer again?

Using FAT32 and "RIPPING" discs larger than 4gb

So I've got everything working beautifully. I just ran into my first 'larger than 4gb' disk (Super SmashBros Brawl) - and I told CFG USB Loader to just copy. I don't think I was supposed to do that. I read that they cannot be over 4gb using FAT32 in the OP here. So what's going to happen when this is finished (says about 30 minutes to finish the job)? I would imagine I can delete it if it doesn't work.

But then - is there anywhere I can learn a bit more about how to use whatever program that I need (the game manager mentioned or something) to break up the file...and then better understand how the game will 'react' when running it with a 'broken up' file?

    Thanks.
