No what my question is. That is there any difference if I copy the game from my PC to HDD or installing the game from a backup disk to the HDD.
Im just trying to get it to load off an HDD to get it to load faster

Yes. Just make a seperate folder for PC stuff. And make all the necessary folders for wii on the root of the HDD like apps and wbfs

I don't believe it matters. As long as the game ends up on the HDD, you're good to go.

    Thats great

I finally figured out the problem why it wont load on my HDD..
For a very weird reason I cant copy ANY large file to my HDD or my SD or my psp from 2 of my systems. Whenever I do, there is always something wrong with it and I have to overwrite the pasted file again and again till it works perfectly. When copying movies, sometimes a move get cut in some parts or sometimes doesnt have sound. For the wii game. First It didnt even load it and after another copy and it loaded till the safety screen and then crashed at the intro movie.

    Does anyone know the reason??

Try a different cable, maybe it is damaged.
It could also be that your USB drivers are corrupt. Uninstall the USB driver and it should reinstall itself with a fixed driver (or look online for the same driver, but uninstall the current one before you install it.)

After i succeed can i convert the WBFS to FAT32 and join it with the existing other ?
Theoretically, yes, but the recommended way is to copy everything off that drive and wipe it completely first.
If you wanted to try it without wiping it completely, you would use Wii Game Manager to copy the games from the WBFS partition to the FAT32 partition, then using a partition manager, delete the WBFS partition, then resize the FAT32 partition to take up the free space.
Resizing the partition like that should be fast, btw.

But if it doesn't work afterwards, you'll just have to copy everything off, then wipe it completely.

I certainly hope not, because I need that for triiforce (Which is still working fine, btw).
I've re-read the guide and don't see this. Can someone please confirm/deny?

Anywho, by chance is your HD plugged into the bottom USB port on the Wii? If not, it should be. Just a thought.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not the problem.

I answered the three questions, I'm sorry I didn't quote them, I figured it was unnecessary since they were in the post directly above me:
are you using port 0 when you look at the from the back [right one]...
    (yes)
did you set the partition to primary when you formatted
    (yes)
    and to active...
    (yes)

As per this, I upgraded from:

    syscheck then

    to

    syscheck now

Everything in the syscheck looks fine to me, but I'm no expert, please look at the syscheck and tell me if there's a reason wiiflow and cfg aren't loading the games

I don't recall the exact steps, reading back over that thread, It looks like I installed the HBC via HackMii Installer v0.8, then priiloader v0.4, then Mios v4, then installed ios58, then reinstalled HBC. and then Installed Hermes cIOS v4.
Each of them completed without errors, please tell me if I've missed anything

Okay, I downloaded "222 Cfg_v60_ Extract Directly to USB Root.rar " from the first post and it also doesn't work.
Homebrew channel lists the homebrew from the USB, cfg loads fine, and asks where the files are, but goes through the 30 second timeout.
I've triple checked that usb port 0 is being used. (The one on the bottom if lying down, the one of the right side if looked at from the back, the one on the left when looked at from the front.)

    cfg says:
    loader version: v60-222
    IOS222 v4 [FRAG]
    base: IOS36 mload v4
Is this what i should expect it to say?

While I had the drive connected to my computer, I also triple checked that the drive is FAT32, primary and active.
When I transferred the games back to the harddrive, I used wii backup manager, and it created the wbfs folder, so I don't think there's any problem there.

I've read this entire thread, and the entire wiiflow thread, and i don't see anyone with similar problems, or suggested solutions that i have not tried.

I don't know. Is the drive on the compatibility list? Reinstall 222 v4 with a base of IOS38 not 36.
    Damn I suck!!!!

When I said I thought that the cIOS249 was deleted on the 4.2 systems, I completely misspoke.

I was thinking of the removal of the STUB cIOS249 that N put into the loop when they updated. My apologies for any confusion.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    I've followed the guide, cile's post linked to stomp_442's thread : http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...tml#post134164
I'm using the installed linked in that thread: install Hermes cIOS v4.rar
    My only options are
    - IOS38 (recommended)
    - IOS38 merged with IOS37
    - IOS38 merged with IOS60
As per Stomp_442's guide, I installed it using the default option of IOS38.
Then installed 223 using IOS38 merged with IOS37

After reinstalling 222 v4, and cfg says "base: IOS38 mload v4", but still doesn't work. (same thing with the timeout)
I don't know if I made a typo earlier or not, syscheck is indentical now as it was before.
Wiiflow has the same port 0 error. i also double checked by putting the homebrew loader on the SD card instead of the USB drive, but it does the same thing.

I haven't looked at the compatibility list, because it's the same drive that was working before.
Do some drives work with WBFS that do not work with FAT32?

Do some drives work with WBFS that do not work with FAT32?
Should work for both formats. When Cfg gives you the 30 second time out does it ask you to select a partition? Do you have the .wbfs files in a wbfs folder on the root?
    Damn I suck!!!!
