How to Extract a RAR or ZIP to USB or SD Root - USB:\ SD:\
In this guide (and others here) you will often see instructions like this
"Download [Download Link Here] Extract to SD:\ or USB:\ " (The Root (First) Directory of your USB Device or SD Card)
To Extract to the Device Root:
1. Connect the USB Device Or SD Card to your PC
2. Right click the RAR file and select "Extract Files..."
3. Browse for your USB Device or SD Card (Example "Removable Disk (F)
4. Double Click the Device. Click "OK" to Extract the RAR - Overwrite/Merge/Replace *If Asked*

I used this also, thanks to Cile who helped me with it before they made this guide.
Is great to have my USB HDD formatted with ONE partitions instead of like 4. I have My Wii games/dlc on there, my Xbox360 DLC/Games, and even some storage. All one partition. Love it, thanks :)
One thing worth a mention is that if you buy your HD and enclosure seperate, the HD will need to be "initialised" in windows first or it wont show up.
I did wonder something. I hear a lot about USB HD's burning out and that's just when used for storage.
Will playing games nonstop off a USB HD cause it to go out?
I use a Seagate Go which had a lot of good reviews..but just curious.
It depends every hdd is bound to fail....but you might be lucky and it wont....Quote:

OK I tried the guide & everything went fine.. can't play games :(
I'm using WD My Book 1TB - FAT32 - 3 Partitions; Only WII Partition is primary & Active.
I converted my ISO's to WBFS; & can see my game titles thru ULoader, but when I open the game.. got a blank screen ;(
& noticed all my games are less than 1GB; but each 4.8GB in ISO format!... advice please

The games will be smaller once converted to WBFS. Does the black screen happen with all your games? You didn't follow the guide exactly or you would have only one partition. Therefor it is hard to say what you could have done wrong. Have you tried a different loader to eliminate that being the issue? Is the drive you're using a known working drive?
