Then you did it wrong. It should be one partition only and none of it should be unallocated. Go back and do it again, be sure to delete all partitions on the drive (it says this in the guide).

Question for you. I'm one of these users. What is the easiest way to go from WBFS to FAT32? Without having to go to ISO first? Basically I just want to extract the scrubbed version straight over to FAT32. WBFS Manager 3 only seems to extract to ISO, not to file?

That is because you have a revision of cIOS that does not support FAT Loading (assuming you followed doggeggs guide). You need to use Hermes cIOSv4 or Waninkoko cIOS Rev19 or 20. I recommended Using Hermes cIOS and the 222 revision of CFG Loader...it will also work with GX though (Wiiflow and CFG are the best loaders for FAT32). This info is in the FAT32 guide. Read it again and check out the optional section at the end for info on installing the needed cIOS.

- USB Loader GX has been removed for now
- Added option to try both Wiiflow and Cfg
- Added extracting info
- Added blackscreen info
- Updated Option 1 of Ripping/Coppying Backups to HDD section (also added an Option 4)
- Added FAQ
- Added info on deleting and extracting backups
If any part of this guide is confusing or you have suggestions then let Cile or myself know.

I have followed your guide and I can play games without issue. One problem though. My Wii doesn't boot up when I hit power while the USB drive is connected. The power light turns green when I hit it, but there's no signal getting to the TV screen. I unplug the HDD, and the Wii immediately boots. I plug it back in, and I'm fine. Any ideas?
Here's some of my info.
-I followed the 4.3 softmod from mauifrog
-I followed your guide, and installed Hermes cIOS 222/223 v4 as instructed in your link
-I've been using Configurable USB loader
-My drive is a HP pocket media drive 320GB

That's a new one. I've never heard of that happening before. I would use a flash drive or spare HDD and see if it happens with only the one HDD.

I copied all the same files, and one game to a PNY 4GB flash drive. It booted up and played the game fine. Is there anything I can do to get the other drive to work properly?

Not really sure, is the drive on the compatibility list? I would run check disk and defrag but that probably won't help.

No I didn't see it on the compatibility list. I think I found a fix though. I turned on WiiConnect24 and left the Standby connection on. The HDD stays on this way. Seems to be working fine. Is there any problem with having the WiiConnect24 service on?
