    Krank:

My setup. I have a hardmodded Wii 4.2U. I softmodded, and got a Western Digital My Passport 500gig drive.

I tried to set up Triiforce and was getting the "Can't Read Title" error. So after a bit of digging and thinking, I realized that Triiforce was looking for files in the G: on my HDD that Western Digital stores setup files. So after changed the HDD from W: to F:, Triiforce loads.

This whole point is moot though. Most Wiiware games are so aweful. It's not even worth it.

    Thanks.

This guide sets the drive up with one partition only so it should not be an issue. Never used a WD though.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I'm just getting into Dolphin emulation on my computer. I currently have a 500 GB WBFS drive with games on it that I use with my Wii. I was wondering, if I convert to FAT32 will the games work on Dolphin as well as my Wii or does this process where it splits files over 4 GB wreck the compatibility with Dolphin?

If not, it would be much easier to just convert over the WBFS drive to FAT32 and bring the drive to whichever device I'm using at the moment. Don't want duplicates all over the place. My Wii is in the upstairs living room and Dolphin will be setup in my home theater room in the basement.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I have no idea. I don't use dolphin...why would you play on an emulator if you have a Wii? I assume you would not be able to play split .wbfs files from the emulator but again, I know nothing about it. Sorry.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Can you explain that? After what step is it saying 1.08Gb? Did you format following the guide?

The Wii doesn't look that great on a 92" screen (1080p projector setup), but it's fine on my smaller TV upstairs so I'll play on both depending on who is doing what in my family any given night. Dolphin can upscale the Wii games to make them high def (1080p) and they look AWESOME! For an example take a look at these screenshots.

Anyway I think you answered my question. If this method makes the file extensions different then I don't imagine that Dolphin will be able to pick them up. Since most games aren't that big though it will still work for most of them anyway, so I think I'll still do it. Thanks for the guide I'm sure it will come in handy for converting over!
