    1. yes, primary active NTFS, and also tried NTFS + FAT32 partitions

    2. it is like the sd, USB:\wbfs\title [id]\id.wbfs

    3. just the NTFS or a NTFS and a FAT32 partitions

Maybe there is something wrong with the console,
I bought it used "original" (not previously moded)
now it plays SOME dvd backup games also it plays games from sd < 2GB

no usb games what so ever

thank you for your time, but I am very unhappy with the console

Have you tried both usb ports?

    Or the more likely culprit:

    Yes both ports
    With different in/off timings
    And different plug in/out timings

I know I am a noob but I have tried almost everything
that is written in the forum

As for the "change user error" hummor
Maybe it is truth. I never had gaming consoles
and now Wii revenges me :-P

So.. your using thumb drives?? Some wii's are a little sensitive for whatever reason.. try a full format to FAT32 and try the ports again and see what happens. if that still doesnt work try to get a hdd to try

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

    I have used:

2 ICYBOX enclosures with 3 different drives 1,5 and 2TB
1 seagate external --> from the compatibility list
    1 2,5 external with 80gb drive
    4 thumb drives 2 and 4GB
    1 sd 2gb
    2 sd micro 512 and 8gb

the only ones that work are sd 2gb and sd-micro 512mb
but game backups are 4+ GB

    also another odd problem
the one thumb drive only worked once with wbfs format but only with one game
when I added another game didn't work again

That's certainly the truth. I use a Rosewill SD reader, with 32Gb Patriot Sd, and a usb extension cord. Sometimes I have to re-seat the reader, because CFG will crash. I think the reader may have problems. I've plugged in multiple flash drives, and a few different pocket Hdd's. Something worth note, the pocket drives do NOT like extension cords! I use an extension cord, because of the location of my wii. My guess is the voltage won't hold up for 5200-5600 drives across the length. No wonder the cords on the pocket drives are short The led turned on, but the drive wouldn't spin up. I should really partition one of my sata drives and use it on my thermaltake dock. But its so much easier to be lazy, and use my tiny 32Gb drive

It really is starting to sound like user error.. Im not trying to be rude or anything but if you tried ALL those things then you might be missing something simple in this guide.. or your ports are on the way out.. your syscheck looks fine. it's either hardware OR you are doing something wrong when your setting up your hdd..

    Edit:
Have you checked the settings on the loader to see where its reading from?

this is what makes me mad because maybe it is a little stupid thing i am missing
but I cannot figure out what

tried format on ntfs and fat32, different cluster sizes, multipartitions, format with different programs
also I tried lots of options on CFGLoader and updating to v70

I tried setting partitions active or not, different order of partitions, isos and wbfs files in //wbfs/ folder

    yes of course
all HDD/thumbs on fat are givin me the HBC apps
and wiimc plays all HDDs/thumbs on fat/ntfs
however usb loaders cannot see them

they see only SDs (and option to pick partitions to load)
but if SD is >2GB give errors (setting up fragments 0 4 or 0 3)

2-3 dvd backups that I checked work (except guitar hero 6)
but the point is to stop messing with dvds

Is the soft modding guide provide everything or do I still need to install extra stuff? ioses/wads?

I REALLY appreciate that you try to help me!

Mauis softmod guide SHOULD provide you with EVERYTHING that you need.. Im haveing a hard time figuring out what is wrong.. Did you completely remove your loaders including the config data on the sd and then reinstall them? mauis guide has an update spoiler and it also tells you how to uninstall mothballed loaders.. maybe give that a shot and reinstall your loaders.

When playing GoldenEye 007 online from my HDD it freezes during loading screens very often. It never freezes during a match or while on the main menu, only after/before matches end/start... I recently used maui's mod ANY wii guide and Cile & Kranks USB loading guide, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any help is appreciated! Thanks
