App:Wad Manager 1.7
To install the wads you can use ios36(has to be fakesigned) or if you already have 236 or cios249/250 you can use that.
HBC->Wad Manager->ios36/236/249/250->Nand Emulation: Disabled->Load from SD/USB(where you placed the wad)->Find it and install it.
It always overwrites if you install into same slot so you dont have to uninstall/delete.
App:MultiMod-Manger v13.4
With MultiManager you can use HW_AHBPROT(full hardware access) if you have wifi.It means you dont have to install or use a fakesigned ios/cios to install other cios.
Make sure you have the no_reload_ios line in the mmm meta.xml(it should be included in the the download)

Triiforce doesnt work with cios rev18+ so if you use triiforce do not update above rev17=ios249.There is triiforce that boots from 227.If you want find and edit the source your self.Not hard.
If you want to update use the 250 or any other slot the loader of your choice supports.
Loaders:
Wiiflow 2.2+..CFG 60+..uLoader 5.1..USB Loader GX 2.0+ support cIOS V5.1.
On the syscheck it will give [v65535] for this version.
You also need the mentioned version of loaders to use cios rev18+
Which slots do loaders support: (based on most recent stable releases)
Neogamma: Only supports cIOS slot 249.
USB Loader GX: 200-255
CFG USB Loader: 245,246,247,248,249,250,222,223,224
WiiFlow: 1-253
KEEP CIOS IN SLOTS ABOVE 200

Hermes cIOS with base [ios37] adds support if you use USB devices as tools for Rock Band or USB microphone, otherwise the devices will not work.
Waninkoko's cIOSXrev19+ with base [ios37] or [ios56] does the same.
Some of the new games need base [ios57] Def Jam Rapstar...Grease

Wad Manager:
1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 need cIOS with base iOS38
1.7 now supports cIOS with base [ios57] & [ios56]
Install the trucha patched [ios36] into [ios236] and use that..
or any other custom ios with [ios38] base in to any slot above 200

Never delete or remove any IOS lower than IOS200!!

Change The Slot cIOS Installs To
App:ShowMiiWads
1. Open ShowMiiWads and select Tools -> Create common-key.
2. Go to View -> ShowMiiWads.
3. Then File->Open the folder the wad(s) is/are in and the wad(s) should show up.
4. Right click on the wad and select change slot and chose which slot you want to install it to.
It will give you a warning that it can brick your wii but the wad is good and your using a slot above 200.Do not choose a slot below 200.
5. Here you can also set revision by right click on the wad change title version and set it from 1 to 65535.
(Anything above 65280 wont get over written by nintendo stub).Nintendo Only Stubs 222/223/249/250.
Example: cIOS249[57]-v20 -> cIOS248[57]-v65535
Be sure to remember which rev you maxed out into which slot.Write it down because there isn't an app that will tell you,some loader have it buts its not perfect.

[cIOS222] Recommended [v4] with [ios38] (Alternate to use instead of Wanin cIOS)
[cIOS223] Recommended [v4] with [ios37&38] (Monster Hunter Trii,Music Games)
[cIOS224] Choice [5.1] with [ios57](Faster USB Loading alternate to Wanin cios)
Waninkoko:(i have it XXX as you can put it in any slot above 200.....249&250 Are the most common)
[cIOSXXX] Recommended [v17] Default Base [ios38] Thought of as the most stable cIOS rev
[cIOSXXX] Choice [v19/20/21] with [ios57](Better/Faster USB Loading)
[cIOSXXX] Choice [v19/20/21] with [ios37](Slow/Alternate to using ios223 for MHTri,Music Games,WM wont work)
[cIOSXXX] Recomended [v20 or 21] with [ios56] (Fast USB Loading..works for all games except Grease,Def Jam Rapstar,COD:Black Ops)
[cIOSXXX] Choice [v17/19/20/21] Whatever suits you.
Example:You can have 249[56] as the default loads almost all games and 250[57] for faster usb loading if games work with it.
Extra: Install All Recommended cIOS
Backup and Format your SD card
Download: MMM cIOS Pack.rar
Extract directly to SD:\ (SD Root)
**Remove your USB HDD and all GameCube memory cards and controllers**
Load Multi-Mod Manager from HBC - Select Wad Manager -- Press A
Press 1 to install all wads - Press A
Verify an error free Install of All 4 wads - Press Home to Exit.
(MMM is set to load IOS249, if you don't have it then choose "Load another IOS" and select IOS36).
Note:
This will install Hermes cIOS with the recommended base IOS.
IOS222 Is installed as base IOS38 (v4)
IOS223 Is installed as base IOS37 Merged with IOS38(v4)
This will install Waninkoko cIOS with the recommended base IOS.
IOS249 Is installed as base 56 (cIOSx Rev 20).
IOS250 Is installed as base 57 (cIOSx Rev 19).
If you use Triiforce do not follow this you will not be able to use triiforce!!! with 249.
