Maybe in further revs. Another thing I noticed about rev 21 is some games that I used to launch using a 56 base in previous revs now won't launch with a 56 base but will with a 57 base. Could just be me though.
Had the same loads fast but sometimes just black screen ....

Remember do not update any trucha signed ios's unless you have a method to resign them or install ones they are already signed. Do not uninstall or delete any ios below 200. Black ops will work off your cios, in fact that and rev21 are the only ones we know that work atm. So if you're having different issues now you can do a few things. Each game that has the given issue, change it's game settings to use a diff slot. Optionally go into usb loader config on your sd card or usb drive and change the default ios from 249 to 250. Set black ops to use 249 all the while the rest of your games will use 250. You can set PER game ios within your loader. It all depends on what you think is easiest how you wanna solve this. I'd suggest going into your sd card usb loader folder, run configurator and change the default ios to 250. Otherwise you'll have to change each games ios.
Thanks for the reply this was very helpful except when i set my usb loader to default to cios250 it would no longer load and i had to re mod my wii to get things working again, was my own fault i tried to uninstall usb loader with wad manager and it deleted all my cios's all my system check showed was ios 70 and down, but i followed messie's guide again for softmoding 4.2 and re installed everything and it works ok again, for me black ops was working when i set it to load from cios 250 v19 57 and my ios 57 is version 5661(trying to find out if this is current or not), it would not work from ios 249 v20. I am going to try to install an older version of 249 maybe v19 and see if that fixes my freezing issue with other games. Still learning as i go, your input is greatly appreciated I am going to try to reinstall cios 250 v 19 tomorow and make sure black ops still works, i lost it when i messed around with usb loader and wad manager.
I reinstalled cios 250 v19 and cios 249 v20 and now black ops works with cios 249 v20 base 57 instead of the cios 250 like it did before i think it maybe because i was using wad manager 1.4 before and now i used wad manager 1.7 waiting to see if games still freeze with these cios's installed

Well that sucks losing it all like that. Good learning exp for ya and you're smart enough to get out of it it seems =). For BO to work it's gotta be [any slot]57r20 or 21. If you use r19[57] BO will work passed loading.. screen and I believe play single player, but will crash during multi-player. Also let it be known there was a update through the wii for internet play (Had alot of bugs). There's a deal for that too, as I recall you need to update base 57 and make sure you have latest wii shop channel installed. Get modmii if you would like to update ios. This is a tool you can use on your pc to get any ios up to date, snag all cios's for the most part. Some aren't listed for whatever reason. Keep in mind when doing cios, first number 200-254 is cios slot, second number is base, the ios the cios works from, 3rd number is just the cios revision or version number. You can put any base ios onto any slot above 200. so something like 249[57]20 which result in slot 249 base ios 57 cios version 20. The technical is, 57 r20 can be on any slot, you can use 247[57]20 and set BO to work off it in per game settings. Put your cios back to original state that you mentioned things worked from until your altered for BO. Theoretically you should be back to square one only diff is BO will run off 247 all by it's lonesome all while every other games cios will be set to default in configurator.

    Thanks Cile.

That means i have install it to 220 by default, i can rename XXX as 249 and install again,
    then it become cIOS249[57].
Should i remove it from 220? or just keep it.
I need this as i want to play Call of duty

No you don't rename it. That won't do anything....read the guide and you will see that you need to change the slot number using ShowMiiWads. It explains how to do this.
    Damn I suck!!!!

leave it alone, if not causing you problem. in fact, u'll be fine to play CoD with 222, 249, 250.
