in rev 21you get option yo use ios58 as base...which if your using wbfs formatted drive you can use both ports....offer better compatibility with usb drives
other things you would hardly notice....
you can test out rev21 for you self and decide...
I use 249rev20,250rev20 & 223[37+38]rev4 havent had a problem....[also have 245rev17 just for mighty channels]
I'll try and see what happens, thanks for the info.
follow the ntfs usb loading guide...your question is for that thread....
ok will do... thanks
this is my first post sorry if it is in wrong spot but ran into this issue when installing black ops on my back up loader
I am using the cios 36 and have performed all the soft mods recomended for the 4.2u menu, I am just wondering if i can install the cios 250, 57 update if i have not done anything to my ios 57, will this update do that for me or is there a bug to install in cios 57 first? thanks for any help.
HERE. Then maybe you should learn about cios/ios too, you seem to have a little misunderstanding in that department. I am guessing that you have found the black ops guide, which is why you know you need 250(20). You can follow this guide to install that cios, then set the games options to load the game with that cios.
thanks for the reply, your right i need to learn more about cios/and ios trying to find a good thread that explains how to install different updates using wad manager but keep getting distracted by all the other cool stuff on the way , i installed the 250 57 v 20 update with wad manager using ios 249 and black ops works fine but now I am having issues with other games locking up interemitantlly during levels at different times, no particular pattern to it just seems to be random, then when i reset the wii usb loader will not load up until i shut the wii off and wait for my hdd to power down and restart. might just be an issue with hdd, that is why I was curious about the base 57 with the update i did not know if i was suppose to do something to the ios 57 before i installed that update or not, I will keep looking for a good thread on updating ios,
