What did he get banned for?

As far as I can see it was for having the same attitude toward other members as you Wiiwouldliketohack
But me saying this will probably get me banned too

This has got to be the most up-tight forum I've ever contributed to.

Ah well, back to reality (Wiibrew, QJ.net, etc, etc)

So why would linking to the ISO loader, get you banned?
While I can see why you would not be allowed to link to copyrighted software, the ISO loader is in no way copyrighted. The ISO loader does not encourage copying games etc.
Thats like saying because a car can go 100mph you are encouraged to brake the speed limit!

This forum is not affiliated or endorsed by Nintendo, so is inherantly on the unofficial side of things, even the forum name suggests topics and discusions of a slightly illegal nature.

The ISO is straight up illegal though, plus who cares it is a rule get over it. You complaining is not going to make them change that rule. There is a site called google where you can find it.

Still ironic, that while we allow links to illegal ISOs, we can't provide to links to the ISO loader.

That's like having a full meal in front of your face but no forks or plates to eat it with.
The unofficial Homebrew Helper. Ask me how!

ISOS them selves aren't illegal, until you burn them to play though since as just the ISO they can't be used. Hmmmmm *ponders*

Exactly how does an ISO loader NOT encourage copying games? When the ONLY thing it can load are COPIED GAMES?

Homebrew isn't illegal .. (although wads and roms you don't own are .. the programs aren't). The ISO Loader isn't illegal, per say, to Nintendo .. as it is also Homebrew .. but .. WiiGator's initial releases were based on a modified GeckoOS .. without credit or approval.

So what your saying is it's not illegal for loading games, but it's illegal for copying another program's code. That's kinda funny!
