Make sure you have the folder structure right..

    SD:/apps/USBLoader/boot.dol
    SD:/usb-loader

    Or USB:/

Does it load up from HBC?
    Damn I suck!!!!

Haha, yeah the forwarder points to a specific folder. If you really want it named Cfg Loader you can change the path with CustomizeMii I think.

    newb

ok, i've just gone through the "New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii" guide and am trying to get this bit done now. (i have a black wii and afaik, won't read backups?)

since i've followed that guide i'm using 'cIOS Rev 38 Rev 17' which means my wii can't read fat32?. i grabbed a .dol (222) file but that didn't make a diff. usb loader when scanning said the partition was invalid

from the OP, i read that using one of these files would get past that? is that right?

    thanks

    edit

went to the wad manager and usb loader appears with the error "custom iOS 222 could not be found"

i take it that's why i'm having probs. i have downloaded a .dol from the 222 section of the OP
