I am using rev 19 and have been for quite awhile. I only updated to V5.1 to try to resolve the issue but it didn't help. I was using V4 at the time when it started. I may return to rev 17 and V4 and see if that helps. Just seems odd it started while still on V4 and having used rev 19 for a month or more with no issues. Thanks for the input, I'll give it a try .

Us Help with softmod 4.2U and Conf USB loader

Hello to all the members, I'm requesting some help for an old fart (45 yrs) to make sense of how to get my already softmoded Wii 4.2U to play 2 games I can't get to work. So I softmoded my Wii maybe 5 months or so ago to be able to play my backup of NSMB and some others, all went well at that time following a tutorial posted here.

My problem now its that I can't run Prince of Persia and MArio Galaxy 2 from Config USB loader V57b4, I think I updated the USB loader but maybe I don't have the necessary IOS or something of that nature, at my age is hard to remember where I left my keys some times... Its there and updated guide to do it all over or how to update my IOS step by step? Any pointing in the right direction will grant you a cookie!
Sorry for my lack of retention, it will happen to all of you in time....

    Krank:

Thanks for that speedy reply, I went and read the PoP guide and I was able to start the game after some modifications to the system, whoever; I got a new issue. The game loads ok and I get to see the last UBIsoft intro, but after that is a blank screen, seems like the game wants to start but I can't get to make it past that UBIsoft screen.

    Any ideas?

I'm not trying to start MG2 just yet, I'm trying to get one game going first.

By the sound of your first post, it seems like you already have some other games running...is that not the case?

Anyway, you could have a bad ISO or you need to update your cIOS.

Please post a syscheck. Instructions-- How to run syscheck.

    ??

Why do you have so many patched IOS? What App have you been messing with? Your cIOS is fine. I suspect a bad ISO. Rip your retail disk.

I'm unsure why I have so many Patched ISOS, I just patched what the guide suggested... but again that guide was when it was fairly new to Softmod.
I was contemplating to "Virginize"my Wii but the guide I found was old.

If it was a guide here then it would not say to patch that many IOS. Anyway, you haven't even answered the question I asked so I can't really help you. Do NOT virginize your Wii. This will not help...If you followed an old guide that is not on WiiHacks, then you can follow a guide here without removing anything (Looks like you are on 4.2 so follow Shadowsonic2's Softmod for ANY 4.2 Wii if you do decide to re-mod).

Thanks for the advice, the only thing I got installed on my Wii that I know its the HBC, but there is the chance that I actually made changes.
After looking at that tutorial I realize that it is similar to the one I used before, I don't think that tutorial exist anymore, I think I saw it over at afterdawn forums.

Thanks for the time to help me out.
