I've always installed stuff as a channel so that I don't need to keep an SD card in my wii, is it possible to have the forwarder 'forwarding' from the fat32 partition on my USB HDD? or does it always have to be from my SD card? thanks for your help.

Now that is quite cool, I can see why you were recommending forwarders then. Thanks again for all the help. I'm happy to keep my HDD as wbfs format - I take it I don't need 222/223 then?

i recommend you swap to fat32...much better/easier there really is no reason to stay with wbfs(when the drive corrupts say goodbye to your games)

cios222[38]v4 and cios 223[37+38]v4 are good cios to have
the package linked is just for fat32 loading if you dont want to use rev19+....

So if I swap to fat32, what format do the games have to be? I know I am asking a lot of questions it just seems like you are very good at answering them so I am kind of taking advantage of that lol

Also if games are 4.37? GB as an iso file, won't they take up more space than the wbfs as some of them are only 400mb? It doesn't make a huge amount of difference to me as I have the iso files for all the discs and the discs themselves but it would be annoying to have the wbfs drive corrupted (it has done once or twice before; usually if I load more than 4 games on to it at once - so I don't do that!)

when you load game of fat32 you convert the iso into .wbfs file so its the same as if you put it on a wbfs drive....

so NSMBWii will still be 300mb etc

look at the fat32 guide linked in my sig all the info is there you wont regret swapping

Yeah I was looking through that straight after posting that. I'll install Configurable USB loader and then set about switching over to Fat32 over then next few weeks when I finish my coursework. Thanks for all the help.
