If it's not patched now, it's possible at the time it was patched and then overwritten later.

I did that too when I was a noob, instead of using the cIOS36 rev10 installer, I installed the wad with wad manager - instead of placing it on the root of the SD to use with the cIOS installer. So yes, patched and then overwritten.

THANKS A LOT! it's really clear to me now! =)

so can i just install new CIOS using 249 now? just making sure coz the last time i did upgrading was long time ago, rev 10 to rev 13 then to 14... i dont know if there's a "new-special-to-follow" methods (like patched ios36 using tbr) now or can i still just run the cios installer in HBC then use 249 for installation... (im planning from rev 14 to rev 17 or rev 20)

You can check your version using a usb loader (wiiflow, neogamma, etc) or in dop-mii. If you followed mauifrog's 4.3 guide to softmod you're good to go and no need to update.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my syscheck and tell me if I'm missing anything major? I see that my IOS36 and 38 are unpatched, is that an issue? My USBLoader GX is working perfectly (except for the new Metroid game, which has sparked my interest into possibly updating some IOS's).

Thanks for any help. I'm a big techie, but I haven't really understood much of this wii-hacking stuff. I know how to follow directions at least

You do know we have a guide for this game, right? I blogged Emuhack's guide, I suggest you read and follow it. If any issue presents, inquire within that thread. We thank you.

Oh he knows, night. His last post was along the same lines in the other M guide. Tsk tsk.
