I do hope they get you sorted in the bricked section, my hunch is that you'll require a drivechip and something along these lines. But as I'm not an expert at recovering bricked consoles I'll defer to the users there.

As a side note, I specifically placed a warning in red lettering in the guide not to install stub IOS30 v2816 on a console running 3.2 (which requires IOS30 v1040) or 3.3 (IOS30 v2576) to prevent unfortunate issues like this one from occurring. I've added a second warning now above and below to further illustrate this point.

I am sorry that this happened while following one of my guides, but it also illustrates how exceptionally vital it is that each instruction is followed to the letter and all warnings are taken into account. Again, I hope you're able to recover your console in a timely manner, d2russel. The guys in our bricked section are top notch.

Hi, im new to softmodding, and i want to softmod my wii, running 4.2U, from Saudi serial starting with LMH.. i followed the guide on youtube, but failed, the tutorial includes installing cioscorpv3.4..

    youtube tutorial: (link removed)

my question is, if i uninstall cioscorp, can i use the guide here instead?->(http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html)
this tutorial is proven to be working, will i be able to follow it without any problems?

Depends on what's on the console right now. Assuming you have HBC (homebrew channel) installed, follow the directions in Section [5] to generate a SysCheck report, then post that back up here.

Yeah you should be fine running this guide, then running through SS2's guide if you like.

You said Saudi, so I'm assuming you've never region-changed your console from NTSC-K. If you have, pay special attention to the instructions regarding those users for the system IOS, but excepting that you should be fine.

Make sure you follow Section [2b] as well.

Just install Priiloader straight over, it'll overwrite the previous install of Preloader.
