When posting a sysCheck you need to copy with Wordpad instead of Notepad, and you should use spoiler tags.

Many thanks to Ithian, this worked great. I couldn't tell exactly which drive my Wii had from Wiidrives because it had a chance of being one of three, so when I modded I installed Darkcorp along with Neogamma to see if it could play backups, not knowing how much Darkcorp would mess with important IOS . Tried and tried with Wii backups, GC backups and retail DVDs and it would play none of them, so unfortunately I came to the conclusion that I have one of the D3-2 drives. I'm glad I was able (with help from this guide) to remove Darkcorp since it was useless to me and I already noticed some of its effects when playing a New Super Mario Bros retail copy and it would freeze after 10 minutes.

region changed korean wii 4.0u hackmii scam screen freeze

Thank you very much Ithian. I have a region changed korean wii ver 4.0u, i tried to update HBC from v0.4 to v0.8, but it always seem to freeze at the scam screen and the "press 1 button to continue" never shows up. Thru mauifrog's guide Hackmii-Fix I was led to this thread as a last resort and it did the trick. Again may thanks to Ithian and Maiufrog.

    cioscorp removal issues

i am updating a friends wii, he had version 3.4 and was using cioscorp. we decided to remove cios corp because he wants to use a hard drive anyways, and knows that cioscorp can cause problems.

we went through the cioscorp removal guide from this site and installed all the new ios. all the wads completed successfully with no errors.

after that we remodded it to update all the files to 4.1, we put a backup disc in and it showed up on the wii disc channel. obviously cioscorp was not completely removed.

the game wont load but the video thing shows in the disc channel. upon running a sys check we saw there were still some ios versions showing 65335, or whatever number it is. we want to completely remove cioscorp so we dont have issues with future mods to it. is there a way to get all the 65335 ios removed?

System ios v54321 is dip patched for recovery purposes. This is a good thing, it what you would get in my softmod guide. This way if you needed to, you could run a recovery disc without buying a modchip. It has no other effect.

Hi I softmodded my console last year and im not 100% sure i installed scorp or not i am a total newbie to modding wii's.
It has been in a cuboard for the last 10 months and i had no idea bout the problems i might face so i ran a syscheck and it reported alot of IOS (rev 65535) from 202-248

Im still unsure i have scorp installed but proceeded to do a removal as it did look like i had it installed and not aware.
I did your guide and re-ran a syscheck and still i have the same IOS's installed.
Here is a paste of the syscheck after following your guide.
Would like to point out everything installed fine and Korean IOS's were removed.

    Spoiler

Any help is appreciated,I have also followed the Any wii softmod guide by mauifrog successfully.
