I was young and foolish when I installed cIOScorp a long time ago. (Well, I'm still inexperienced today.) I just followed the first random guide I found on the internet without actually knowing what to do. Now I know that cIOScorp has made it impossible for me to update my HBC and I wish for it to be uninstalled. The thing is, I see a warning here that might apply to me: "If you have a newer console (last 2 years) and downgraded your firmware to 3.2 while running cIOSCORP, do NOT follow this guide!!! Make a post in this thread first!!"

I honestly do not know from what year this Wii is or what System version was installed. All I know is that I followed this random guide and that my Wii has System version 3.2E now. (It's also a native European Wii.) I'm quite sure there was a process in that guide where I had to install 3.2E over my pre-existing System, but I am not sure whether it was a downgrade or not (ie. I don't know if the System Menu version already was 3.2E to begin with). Is there any way for me to find out if my Wii is a newer console, and if so, what can I do then?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nurio

P.S: I'm sure that someone has asked this before, however I hope you can forgive me for not wanting to search through 21 pages of posts.
If your just trying to update the HBC, the only thing you need to do is http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...lling-hbc.html
If your worried about your 3.2 and wish to uninstall cioscorp, either leave your current ios30 alone, or update to 4.1 first. But cioscorp will not prevent the HBC from updating, you just need to install a vulnerable ios.

I see. Thank you. I want to get rid of cIOScorp altogether. (Only if it's impossible to do so, would I use this as a last resort)
But how can I upgrade to 4.1? I suppose if I update my Wii now, it will be 4.3, won't it? (Sorry for being such a noob. It's probably an easy to use program for HBC, but I wouldn't know which one)
Are there any downsides to upgrading to 4.1? Like certain things not working anymore? I use Configurable USB Loader to play my (legal) games on a hard drive and that's basically it, actually. Oh, and I use a WAD manager sometimes to install/delete WADs.

You can use dop-mii to install system menu 4.1 for your region, then use his guide to remove cioscorp.

    Sorry for the double post.
I tried to at least remove some of cIOScorp but it somehow won't work. Whenever I try to install an IOS it gives me an "Error (503)" when trying to download... something.
    I've tried this with IOS9, 11, 12, 37, 56 and MIOS.
9 worked like a charm. 37 and MIOS gave some sort of dump error* at the end (after giving me the same "Error (503)"). 11, 12 and 56 were able to download some parts but mostly gave Error (503) on most parts.

*The Dump Error looks like this:
    Code:
    Exception (DSI) occured!
LOTS of random letters and numbers all neatly aligned in groups

    STACK DUMP:
Again random numbers/letters and arrows in between them

    CODE DUMP:
    Random numbers and letters...
    Help?

Okay. Will do. Thanks. Hope that gets rid of any errors.

The nus server appears to be offline, so you'll have to wait or find the required wads. Unfortunately, most of the wads are on mediafire and that appears to be offline also.

I'm extremely sorry for the triple post. But when trying to install System Menu 4.1 it says it needs IOS60 and it will install it for me.
However, I get the same annoying Error (503) when trying to install IOS60! And followed by the same Dump error...

EDIT: Man, every time I think I make a double/triple post, you somehow Ninja your way in between my posts =) (Meant as a compliment)
Okay, I'll just have to wait then. Strange though, that it can load some parts but not all.

    Lol ok, I just donated.
So, can't I just uninstall Darkcorp with its unistaller and then install the newer rev's of the IOS's trough Dop Mii?

    CiosCORP 3.x Uninstaller

Then extract to your sd card. Then you have the cioscorp 3.x uninstaller in your hb and there will also be a directory on your sd card called sd:/corpv3.xU/ with the wad files in it.
Run the uninstaller from HBC. Some files may fail. 5 failed on my test wii, but I just used dopmii later. After you do this, you should be able to start this guide at ios9 with no problems.
If you run into ios with errors, uninstall the 65535 using - and install+ the one listed in guide.
keep in mind ios4 and ios200+ will have high numbers, leave these alone.

Let me know how you make out.
Thanks to both Ithian & Newfieman after using the uninstaller it did as you said and reinstall all but 5 files. When i download the ios and used as instructied it allowed the updates to all but the same 5 files. i was then able to uninstall 4 of those and install the file from wad. but the only remaining file ios 60 will not install. So after seeing a post on on modmii i tried it and it replaced the missing file on install with no problems. and now everything seem to work just perfect, thanks again
