It's no problem but what are you trying to do? This guide will get your IOS back to factory standard with patches for homebrew/backups. The 249 guide will get that cIOS back on your console to run this guide. Besides that just make sure you got HBC, Bootmii w/a NAND backup, and pick yourself up a backup loader and you're good to go.

The syscheck hangs on Testing IOS vulnerabilities.... Please wait.... It freezes. Is this normal and do I have to wait?

The IOS is probably corrupted. Try reinstalling the one it hangs on.

Did you run this guide yet? I don't know what steps you've taken on your console so it's hard to guess what the issue might be.

You probably have ios30-v1040 and it is not compatable with your wii. If you are not running 3.2, delete ios30 using dop-mii. Don't delete it if your running 3.2 or you'll be sad.

Scan the wii's internals with dop-mii. It will freeze at a specific IOS. If you are on 4.2 my guess is that it will freeze on IOS31 because your IOS30 is corrupt. Just a guess, but dop-mii will freeze on the IOS before the one thats corrupted in most cases.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks a bunch for the advice/help! You were right it was the IOS30! I had to stub it and it worked just like you said in your FAQ! :] Cheers!
