    try using another FS Dump.....Dont get discouraged....play around try everything ...once you get it to work you ll love it...(launch hackmii installer again and select prepare sd card for bootmii and get the armboot.bin from there and ppcboot.elf..you can even use the bootmii.ini setting from that just put boot delay to zero)

    If all the above fail or a previously working NAND stops working you can try the following:

    * delete "\title\00000001\00000002\data\cdb.vff" — Note: the recreating of the file can take up to 5 mins or even longer.
    * delete everything in the "\title\00000001\00000002\data\" folder EXCEPT the setting.txt! — Note: again recreating of the files can take up to 5 mins or even longer.
    * delete the shared2 folder — Note: if you delete the shared2 folder you have to setup your whole Wii again!

    For the past little while, probably about an hour, i have been using two different brand SD cards to try and get it working. Swapping one on my computer and one in the Wii hoping it will load up. This current round i'm deleting the files mentioned in your previous post to see if anything changes (still black screen once i select to load bootmii). I've tried just about every format allocation size. Used more than one nand dump. And re-created the files with sneek a few times. I've continued to persist, because as you stated, i'm sure i would get MUCH use of it.

    In summary, I've followed the guide exactly, tried any/all of the recommendations you have given, created the FS Dump a few times, and used a different backup each time; all this has been done on two, different, SD cards. Once i load bootmii through the homebrew channel, a black screen persists with the disc slot light flashing, and no wiimote connectivity. I've been very patient and left it at the black screen for plenty of time, usually walking away and having a smoke.

    So, using a downloaded nand dump i found online, i tried that one, and it worked......only for a little while. The system menu was themed and i believe that is what caused the corrupted files messages (it was in french, i think). Now i'm wondering why it is that my nand dump won't cut it.

    @Cile: Thanks for the info, i'm following the steps of your message now.

    EDIT: After an enormous amount of help from Cile, I have got everything up and running. It only took $10 for a new SD card, made by SanDisk. For anyone having trouble running SNEEK after going through the guide, if you're using Sneek, SD only, try 512 byte allocation size, and try a different card. I was swapping between two different brand cards with no luck. Only after buying this SanDisk is when i got everything up and running. I highly recommend SNEEK, it ROCKS!!!!

    I'm also having the blackscreen issue on boot with UNEEK. Using my Bootmii NAND dump (also tried SFSD) with 4.2u, 4GB SDHC, 1TB external USB. I'm not really sure what could be causing this.

    What allocation size did you format each device? When i ran Sneek, SD only, i used an allocation size of 512 bytes(FAT32) to get it running. The guide states to format the USB device at 32 kilobytes allocation size, also FAT32.

    Edit: It may just be your card since it is an SDHC, though i would exhaust other options.

    Hey joe,

    I've tried using a 128MB Lexar SD, 1GB HP SD, and the 4GB SDHC (I have a couple others) all gave the same result. Out of curiosity, when UNEEK boots, would the HDD turning on from sleep mode cause the system to hang, or blackscreen the way it's happening? Bootmii loads from boot 2 without issue.

    I suppose I could try SNEEK off the SD, but isn't that method a bit slow at loading?

    EDIT: Okay, SNEEK on SD also not working, same blackscreen on boot, controller won't sync either.

    Turns out I didn't have all the files on the SD card for SNEEK; it now loads with the SD card, but it's a bit slow as expected. However, I'm still not able to boot with UNEEK (I suspect its the HDD wake function taking too long)

    Boot.ini contains:

    VIDEO=PROGRESSIVE
    AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU
    BOOTDELAY=0

    During the game Strong Bad Episode 1, i am getting the data corruption screen somewhat often using sneek. I can get the data corruption by doing a certain sequence of events every time. I thought it may have been the wad itself, so i acquired another copy with the same results. My nand is on USB(UNEEK), FAT32, 32KB allocation size. The guide mentions freezing with priiloader on the emulated nand, is this what is meant by freezing??
