no you dont just use the wads..... showmiiwads will decrypt...you can use modmii by xflak it set up the whole thing for you...

if you mean have a usb loader on uneek and load games you cant the loaders need cios...... sneek & cios dont like each other ...but you can use uneek+di

you can use gecko os or triiforce to load vc/wiiware games if you have more then 47

I followed this guide and I'm getting a black screen.
Went with UNEEK using a 250gb Verbatim hard drive and a 2gb SD sandisk.
Triple checked all the folders and files, everything is in the right place and stuff.
    Wii is on 4.1u
Waited 10 minutes at black screen and tried spamming A on controller
Not sure what the whole thing with IOS's are but I have all the ios's that were installed through using the 4.3 Softmod Guide here and nothing more.

Did you do UNEEK, or UNEEK+DI? If you did +DI, you need at least one extracted DVD game on the drive before it'll load. If you're just planning on playing Wiiware/VC games, delete the SNEEK folder from your USB and SD card, and re-run the installer (select UNEEK, not UNEEK+DI).

I've been messing with this for a good 3 days now, staying up until 6am each night. I've extensively tried both UNEEK and UNEEK+DI. I do have one game on the harddrive that was made with ModMii specifically for UNEEK+DI and is located in the /games folder. I also tried using my Wii's NAND multiple times as well as a virign NAND through ModMii but the black screen persists (on most attempts I have waited a good 5-10 minutes before shutting down Wii, just in case). Also tried installing uneek through various guides and using different file structures as well as (again) using ModMii's installation of UNEEK+DI (which is a rev125 instead of the usual r140). My most recent attempt was an r123 install of UNEEK+DI using SneekyCompiler v3.3 which resulted in a black screen as well, however the compiler did not give my sd card an armboot.bin for the bootmii file so I had to use the one from ModMii (Not sure if armboot.bin is affected by different revisions of sneek or not). However I did end up with new files in my usb's sneek folder which I haven't seen in any other installation: dimodule.elf, esmodule.elf, fsmodule-sd.elf, and fsmodule-usb.elf.

The last idea I have is compiling my own r123 sneek using the SNEEK+DI guide on gbatemp...

My current file structure (Via ModMii installation) is as follows:
    sd:\bootmii\armboot.bin
sd:\bootmii\ppcboot.elf (inserted manually in order to be able to launch bootmii through priiloader, otherwise receive error and unable to even load up)
    sd:\sneek\kernel.bin
    usb:\sneek\kernel.bin
    usb:\sneek\di.bin
    usb:\sneek\font.bin (95 KB)
-and in the root are the usual NAND folders: import, meta, shared1, shared2, sys, ticket, title, tmp, wfs (I made the virgin NAND through ModMii but that only gave me a few of the folders which I found weird so I took my own Wii's NAND and pasted the ModMii's virgin NAND files over it. This was after I tried booting sneek with just the select few folders ModMii gave for the virgin NAND, which of course failed with a black screen)

If anyone has any further suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them.
I'm using a red wii (probably with the d2-3 drive) and my Verbatim 250gb hdd is fully formated to FAT32 with 32kb clusters (Active & Primary).

Ive built a couple of nands with Modmii and tried uneek on a couple of different drives with the same sandisk 2gb sd card, a 3.5 IDE 40gb Western digital in generic case . A toshiba 2.5 IDE 4.3gb in generic case and also an adata 2gb flash drive all good .

I just wanted to know what sort of sdhc cards people have gotten to work with sneek . Im thinking of running either a couple of nands with different content on different cards or one big card that does it all .

I tried installing gecko os to do that but after installing the wad and launching from the channel I just got an error screen , do I need to install anything else in the nand or sd card for gecko to work ?.

I also made a modmii nand and copied the files from the instruction on the virgin nand to also get a black screen ie:
    9. Copy your setting.txt & iplsave.bin from an actual dump to the /title/00000001/00000002/data folder that was created in your new folder.
    10.Copy your cert.sys & uid.sys from an actual dump to /sys/

After trying and failing with that one I just put my serial in modmii for my nand and also just copied the setting.txt into the data folder and left everything else out and the nand started with a green pixelated screen than it black screened and than booted .

FYI, looks like the sneek installer chokes on downloading the IOS files (kernel.bin and the like). The files appear to have been removed from the dev's google code repository.

hey this is Domìnìc Fox from above, I stopped using my FB account.

Anyway if it makes any difference, when I go into Priiloader and try to boot SNEEK through the autobooting method, I get the error "Error booting Bootmii IOS!" and if I try to boot the HBC direct from priiloader, it says "error autobooting HBC. maybe title not installed". On the bottom of the white screen it says IOS v60, Systemmenu v449, and priiloader v0.4 (r78). Could this be have something to do with why my sneek won't work in any way, shape, or form?

I noticed this also. I was looking forward to using this method to play VC/WiiWare games from my USB HD. Does anyone know the specific files that are downloaded with the SNEEK Installer program?

    Thanks,

    Scott
