Then i tried to use uneek again and it still wont boot just out of curiosity does anyone out there have sneek running on a WD Caviar Green if you already know that it wont work please let me know so i can give up on this exercise in futility. or if it work let me know so i can go back and figure out what i did wrong again.

Well I wanted to try my hand at making a custom menu for my wii without having to worry about bricking it. Probably will also use it for other types of testing as well plus it is also just peace of mind knowing that no matter what stupidness i do my wii is safe and sound.

And if you mean did i try making a virgin nand that is what i am using the same one that i got working on the thumb drive.

Cile you are legendary, after all the failed attempts at getting this to work I ordered a transcend sd card and whilst waiting for it I decided to have another look through all the posts on here
Then I stumbled upon the post quoted above gave it a try and it only worked
At first I didnt believe it so I used showmiiwads to remove a few unwanted channels form my nand and had another go and hey presto success.

I'd like to say a big thanks to you for this guide I'm gonna go and put a theme on the wii (emulated nand of course!) and have a good mess around with sneek

Here is the card I was using so you know of another confirmed compatible card

It loaded to what would of been the health screen (it was the black tile form preloader hacks.ini) in around 10secs and loaded into System menu in no more than 10seconds after that
So altogether no more than 20-25 seconds to load.

    Thanks Again

I was wondering... I have BootMii as an IOS, but I want to boot SNEEK automatically when I turn on my Wii. Can I install the DOL file of BootMii (yes I have one) via Priiloader, so that SNEEK loads when I turn the Wii on? Or would this cause troubles if I want to get into Priiloader to get into my actual NAND?
