It is just not happy with me!
ISO of mine goes to 8.3GB approx (on NTFS), from my DL DVD.
using the correct settings in WBFS manager....goes to 7.9GB approx on the WBFS partition
I use wiiflow, if I start the game it crashes, if I go to setting in wiiflow of the game the wii crashes the same way..
My Hermes is fine for sure..
    Where am I going wrong?
    [ 4.0U ]-[ cIOS 38 r17 ]-[ Priiloader 0.3b (rev48)]-[ BootMii as boot2 ]-[ HBC 1.0.8 ]-[ WiiFlow 2.2 r414 ]-[ Triiforce MRC SS v10b ]-[ Savegame Manager GX r79 ] [UAE Wii/Snes9x GX/Wii64/SDL MAME Wii/DOSBox Wii/GxGeo ]

It is said an expert is someone who has made all the mistakes. I don't want to be a Wii expert then..thanks to everyone at WiiHacks

Hi all, just want to add some specific details here....

Recently, I put my SSBB into my USB in NTFS mode (a whole 6.93gb in one WBFS folder). In USB Loader GX, the file reads 0.0 gb, as if there's no file in there. Apparently, this is a current issue for USB Loader GX: Can't read DL DVD games (bigger than 4gb). This issue has been posted here:

Issue 1429 - usbloader-gui - NTFS duallayer doesn't work - Project Hosting on Google Code

The solution? Either you format your USB drive into FAT32 mode (which will split the file automatically into 2 chunks of file), or still using the NTFS mode, but go to Options --> Settings --> Fat32/NTFS --> WBFS Split Style --> 4gb (in Wii Backup Manager). That should do it, and cheers

    edit: STOP PRESS

I thought I would at least be able to play with friends so reset the game in USB Loader GX to game default, all now works fine inc one player mode

    ..........................

I followed the steps exactly but am having troubles.

Before following this guide, the game worked in multiplayer but after defeating the first opponent in 1 player mode I had the blank screen issue (reading second partition I presume).

After following the guide, when I load SSBB my tv loses the video input (the avi message appears on the screen) but I get the load music.

Has anyone had this/know how to solve it?

    Thanks

hi! Im tried de tutorial here but with no sucess. My SSBB still geting a black screen before de fight mario x kirby. Below are the things ive tried:

    - I installed hermes v4 as the tutorial says and tried to load with 222. Also put the ISO in the HD with the program in the pack and with the recommended options.
    - Install cios038 rev 17 and load with 222
    - Install cios038 rev 19 and load with 222
    - Install cios038 rev 20 and load with 222

Nothing works. I instal my cios38 rev20 with ios57 to load call o duty black ops

Could it be the ISO that have this error??
Anyone know more things that i dont tried???

    Thanks!!

Problem I have is when I play through classic mode, I get to the end after the coin shooting game and all I get is a black screen. I have 4.1U with cIOS 249 rev 20 using neogamma r8. I even tried using usb loader gx, still the same problem. Could be just a bad rip of the game? It shows up as 6.93 gb in wbfs manager....

Edit- Nevermind, the file I had was junk. I got a new one and it works perfectly, wbfs manager compressed it to 6.95 gb.

I have a Hard drive set up and Have the Wii Game disc.

I try to install the game with usbloader gx but it doesn't install correctly. it installs to about 50.24%, freezes for a sec, then continues to 51% then says finished. When I try to play it it gives me a white screen. Is there a way to use usbf to turn it into an iso or how can I get the iso without downloading it? any suggestions?

I am having this problem too! Somebody please help!

I have a NTSC version of SSBB and I'm on the Wii 4.3u
I've tried every ios, and I've tried 2 different versions of USB loaders, and I even tried 2 different .iso files, so it's not the .iso

The game freezes at the level select screen, and makes a loud buzzing noise.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I finally fixed it! I modded my Wii using the Smash Stack/Indian Pwn method. So what I did was I deleted the Indian Pwn files that were on the SD card, then I plugged my the SD card into my computer and went to :SD/private/wii/app/rsbe/st and deleted the .bin file. Now it works perfectly without freezing! If you're a NTSC Brawl user with the stage select freezing problem, this should be your solution!

The game worked perfectly for me when using usb loader CFG. Then i installed GX, and can no longer use CFG. I get the same error when I choose a level in brawl.

So you think removing the Indian Pwn files will do the trick? I thought I had deleted them already though. I will try the .bin issue. As well as try running the game in Iso223.

Let me know if there is any other fix.

Sir I just want to thank you! I tried everything and I also had the whole 4.3u Indiana Pwn method and your solution worked for me! Please tell me, how did you come to that solution? I would of never thought to delete those two particular files. Well anyhow, thanks again. I had a blast playing with the kids!
