The second thing is, as stated Priiloader BLOCKS updates (whether disc or online) once set and without further user intervention. We have two girls 6 and 7; it's not a piracy thing, but a common sense thing in our case. To each their own, I suppose...
One of them is very typical, the other one uses everything with care. They have the age of 4 and 7, and surprisingly enough, the 4 years old one is the one with care. But, my typical one seems to use things with care also lately.

Uhm, yes, but if you get what I mean, I just deleted The HomeBrew because we want to use everything what Nintendo gives us, not what HomeBrew gives us, or at least my sisters do.

Oh btw, the statement of 'He' and 'aunt,' was honestly because I was kind of in a hurry and I accidently passed up the 'S.'

No, you absolutley can't. It might brick your Wii and will leave trash behind of all sorts of stuff installed with The HomeBrew Channel.

I'd say, just follow this guide step by step and nothing will happen to your Wii. I used this guide to virginize my Wii aswell, and I could safely run an update.

I don't suppose it might be a game called Pilot Wings? Does that ring a bell?

I've just recently followed this guide to attempt to revert my wii back to stock again but ran into a snag. I'm doing this because I had chipped my wii a few years ago with a wasabi and was fine up untill NSMB came out which wasabi couldn't read at the time. Taking the advice of a friend I tried to softmod the console and its been acting really wonky since then, I'm not sure if it has something to do with the chip or not? Its been a few months since I did all that and Ive forgotten the particulars, I was running 4.2U when I started this tonight and got as far as step B3 without a hitch until I had to start up NAND clean, it froze and the controller disconnected, restarted and now all three programs give me the black screen/controller issues. If any of you can point/flame me in the right direction again I'd be so thankful, Im hoping once I go back to stock my chip will work properly again.
