Yeah the NAND trick should be totally possible to do with RB2 also.

I did test the copy problem using the newest Hermes cIOS and uLoader and it works the same as when run off a disc. You use cIOS rev5, install option 223, use default which is IOS37 as base.

Now that that's settled, if you have any other questions or problems with USB loaders, nand emulation, or anything of that nature you should start a new thread or find a thread with that topic to jump in on.

upcoming uLoader 4.9 can download directly from GH5 Music Store to emulated NAND (RB2 is not working yet, but it will for sure)

Hi i im on V4.2 and I installed IOS56-64-v5146.wad as well as SXAE andSXEE WADS for GH5 and when I put my retail version of GH5 it is asking for me to perform a Wii System Update" after reading some posts I don't want to perform a Wii System Update.
Wasn't the purpose of installing the IOS56-64-v5146.wad to by pass installing the update?
Or am I missing some steps? If so can someone assist me.

    Thank you

First of all thats not the newest IOS56, not sure if thats what GH5 needs or not, and also, it might be wanting to update any other IOS which has a version number lower than the IOS on the disc. You could use DOP-IOS system check to dump all the IOS versions to the log file, and then compare it to the IOS files on the disc in the update partition. Obviously something on you system is not updated.

I have not tested RB2 DLC yet, but I think you can, doing it the same way as with GH5. There are no limits as uLoader uses NAND emulation to create a virtual NAND in USB HDD to store savegames and DLC. I have almost 2 GB of GH5 DLC in the emulated NAND and all songs work like it were in the real NAND.

    you should read this

This sounds really, really helpful. Okay, so I have my hard drive with 2 partitions. 1 being the WBFS portion obviously, and then the other being the FAT32. Once I go into the configuration of uLoader, what exactly are the setting and options I want to choose so that my DLC will be saved and loaded from that FAT32 partition? Some clarification would be very helpful. Thank you.

Hello everyone. This is my first post. Been silently watching the forum in the past but now I'm wondering how to get the fixed sXAP wad since the the file hosted on megaupload doesn't have any wads in it. Also what is the sXFP and sXGP wads for? Is there a link explaining all the wads available and what they're for? I only know the sXAP, sXEP, sZAP and sZBP. Also of course the rest of the RB2 wads. Cheers. TIA.

EDIT: Been googling as well to find the fixed version of sXAP but the one that is floating around seems to be the not working one as I always get error -4100 straight away everytime I tried to install it. Please help people. =P

you may use the "Copy DLC" button to copy DLC from real NAND to the virtual NAND you selected in SD or USB.

@jtp10181: Thanks for the help mate. Now I can continue rawkin!

EDIT: Ditto as the above. Waiting patiently for the PAL DLC Tool to be released. I wish they would release some kind of a patch to allow SDHC cards.
