When I look at the PC Tools List.txt the last URL i have is 00010005735a4550/0000010d
And I have tried to update a few times but it keeps saying there is nothing to update. I'm not sure what the problem might be. I have noticed that in the past sometimes I have to wait 1-2 days after the release date in order to download the DLC,must be because I'm half way around the world from the US where the servers are, but it's past the 1-2 days

    Any ideas ?

Rudi I know you say you are running a PAL WII have you had this problem with RB2 ? have you updated your DLC in the past few days? what is the last file you have on your list.txt ?

Ok let's see where am I going to start with this reply ..... I'm not a Noob here and and I didn't need and unhelpful answer " I'm gonna paraphrase Rudi>>>>>>>>READ THE MANUAL<<<<<<<<<<<<<

    "

I don't believe that you have bothered to read any of my post. So maybe i need to explain it a bit more.....

I have all other DLC for RB2 and GH working fine no problems. So I think that I know what I'm doing here and have followed the guides to have it all running fine on my HDD with emulated NAND!

So let's get back to the problem here .... the list.txt is information thats recieved from the servers at Nintendo.. so as I have said in my post ... when PC Tools are run they are saying that there is no new content. And I know this to be untrue. The last time there was a problem like this, it was when we changed from 4th gen to 5th gen. The only difference then was that if I put my DVD into the Wii and went to the music store I could see the songs but couldnt download them as I needed a new unlock WAD for the new gen. This time when I go to the music store, some of the songs that I know are available ARE NOT SHOWING UP!.

Now this has nothing to do with reading a manual. This is what is showing up on the Nintendo servers ( music store) as available.. and thats available with or without an unlock WAD installed, because as of right now I couldn't even BUY the newest DLC that was released on the 5th of Oct.

So now back to my the original question ...... Has anyone else had this problem ? Is anyone else that is running a PAL copy of RB2 able to download the newest DLC that was released on Oct 5th ( eg: REM/ T Rex )

If you can download it or have was it via PC tools or via the music store??

I'm running a PAL wii and I've just run "Download More Songs" from the Gen5 folder and there is some more stuff coming down the line, so I'll get back to you once I know what has been added. I just realised though that it is probably the Sept 28th stuff......doh!

If you know anyone with a virgin wii and a genuine disk you could ask them to load up the game and see if it's available in their store? I have heard in the past that PAL users had to wait a little longer than NTSC for new content perhaps cos the release dates are earlier in the States than in Europe/Australasia? dunno.....would be great to be able to get the WOR DLC, that Soundgarden stuff would be killer!!!! Anyone sussed this out yet?

Thanks ... I'll be interested to know if you have the same problem or not.. yes it's true that PAL users do have to sometimes wait longer for DLC than the NTSC ones but i'm not sure why. could be because of the market size
I know a few people are working on the DLC for GH WOR, but it will mean a change from uLoader if you are going to run emulated NAND. We'll have to use uneek+di, and that can be a bit of a pain to get running. I was playing around with it the other day and got it running with VC/WiiWare, but I think that triforce does a better job for that than uneek. It's a better interface. and uneek has limitaions to the number of vc/wiiware you can run and even they tell you to run triforce if you want to run alot of vc/wiiware.

The other problem is that uneek dosent use WBFS so you have to convert all your games. it won't just read the ISO thats already on your HDD.
Some people have also advised that the DLC for RB2 loads faster via uneek.... it cuts down the loading time I think from approx 8-10 mins to approx 5 or so.
I might just set up one HDD just to run uneek+di and my GH and RB games with all the DLC on it only and leave my other HDD for everything else and have triforce on that one .

So does triforce load WOR?.....I'm suprised that Uloader won't load it since it seems pretty similar....ah well.

Now - my new downloads have finally finished and none of the tracks you have listed (neither the Oct 5 or the Sept 28) are in my list of songs so I dunno what's going on there. I have just started downloading any missing from the other Gens and I have data coming through for Gen1,2 and 3 but I wouldn't have thought that's going to do trick, the new stuff would have to be Gen5 surely?....anyway, still plenty of songs here to muck around with so no biggie, but sorry we couldn't solve why we're not getting some of the DLC.....

No not that I know of Triforce won't work. everything that I have read onlu sneek/uneek+di will work to run RB/GH with the DLC.

uLoader has a problem and causes an error when you try to load up and of the DLC with GH WOR. Maybe they have added a check in WOR to what the actual space is available and of course if you have all DLC then you have far exceeded the space that's on the Wii. In some ways it's a bit strange that Nintendo has'nt done something for the DLC - they release loads more than what would fit on your Wii memory and all they have is use SD cards?????? I'm sure they know there is a better way than just SD cards.

As for you not getting all the current DLC I'm not sure . The partial list I posted earlier is from the wikiapedia list of all the DLC for RB2 and the release date that you can find here.

    //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_list_of_downloadable_songs_for_the_Rock_B and_series

I have found it to be very acurate and up to date.

I hope that someone else might shed some light on why this is not working.
