The error-code... uhmmmm... i guess you've tried to get access 2 the music-store while running RB2 through NAND-emulation... this doesn't work and gives me an error 2.
Doing the same without NAND-Emulation works fine for me... but this is useless because theres no (simple) way to transfer the songs to the NAND-Dump.
So... best way is 2 use my tools to download new songs... the only drawback: you can't select the songs you want.. u've to take them all.

On the other side GH5 works fine with downloading Songs in NAND-Emulation and... you can even delete the songs you don't like in rock archive

    @Rudi,
You can choose the songs you want to download by editing the list.txt. Just make sure you have the data file and remember that each song will have two files. For e.g. For Gen 5, you only want Holy Diver by Dio. Edit the list.txt file to :-
    "http://nus.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/00010005735a4545/000000c9" (latest data file)
    "http://nus.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/00010005735a4545/0000009d" (song file 1)
    "http://nus.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/00010005735a4545/0000009e" (song file 2)
Save the list.txt file and select 3. Download all files.
The rest of the steps are the same.
Here - I made a list of all the songs available (up to 21/09/2010). It is in Excel format.
    Download Link ----> songs-21_09_2010.rar

    Ca

Hi everyone....I've been trying the GH5 DLC guide with Band Hero. This is what has been happening:
When I run the game from the disc channel I can play it. When I go to the music store, all the extras (GHWT, etc) are available for download.
None of the Band Hero DLC is showing as purchased or downloaded. I might try installing the wads for this again.
After playing I can exit to the Wii menu with no problems.
Now when I try to run it with uloader. I have already transfered the DLC to my HDD (which I use for RB2). The game loads as normal. The HDD looks like it's doing something.
When the game loads, I only have the disc songs to play. When I go to the music store, it never loads. It gets to downloading updates and then tells me I have to free up more memory.
Is that normal with GH games. I thought the game would be saving to the HDD as well, and not using any Wii memory. I have about 400 blocks free right now.

    any ideas anyone?

I forgot to mention when I quit the game (using uloader) I get a black screen, the wii menu does not come on.

Here's the latest Band Hero update:
Disc channel.....Game loads....music store loads, shows everysong purchased.
uloader............Game loads.....music store gets to the point that it's downloading updates then tell me I don't have enough wii memory space.
Tells me to free up 8 blocks of memory, I have over 1000 blocks free.
I'm just about to look at the actual HDD to see what's going on in there.......

One thing this proves is that Band Hero and GH5 use the same files.

This is really really BETA 4 u 2 try out !

    Rudis RB2 DLC Manager 0.1b

Its not really finished yet.. using this tool u can see all RB2-DLC-Songs in your NAND-Emu and delete choosen ones.
Drawback of this early version: Next time you download and transfer songs to the nand-emu all deleted songs will be restored.

Let me know what you think..

    Regards
    Rudi

Are u sure that nand emu is running while using uloader ?

I never use BandHero because i have all BH-songs imported to GH5... so why should i use BH ?

Well, I don't have GH5, that's why I'm trying BH. I believe that nand emu is running because I deleted my save file from wii mem. When I load from disc channel I get the enter online name, band name, etc.
When I use uloader I get my old band info again.
I'm sure it's something simple I've overlooked. I'll keep trying.........

    BH update:
I think I might have found the problem.....I just don't know the solution.
When I load game from disc channel....I have no songs in wii memory
Whien I load game with uloader I do have songs in wii memory, but I can't delete them from Rock Archive.
If I back up my nand again, will that possibly fix the problem (not sure what is actually trasfered by doing this)
Is there a way to find that info on my hdd and delete it from there?

    thanks

Rudi you are awesome! I used your tool pack to get everything running and it's working great!

    edit:

It seems like I have a slight problem. Most RB2 Gen 5 songs are working fine, but I don't see Dio - Holy Diver and Juliana Hatfield - Nirvana in my lists. When I use the "Download New Songs" option, it tells me that "No New Songs are Available". Hmm.
