TBRB DLC: some songs freezing at green curtain after choosing difficulty

    Hi,

    Thanks for the excellent stuff.

    I'm working with a 4.2U Wii, uLoader 5, Hermes cIOS 222 v5, patched IOS56 using Dop-Mii v12, and an actual TBRB disc.

Using a USB HDD I'm doing emulated NAND and in general it seems to be working, I was able to transfer my save game, all songs show as downloaded and almost all play just fine.

Here are the songs that aren't working that I've tried so far:
    Maxwell's Silver Hammer
    Golden Slumbers
You Never Give Me Your Money

The only thing I can find in common is they're all from Abbey Road/1969, so maybe this later group of DLC is different somehow?

Thinking the files might be corrupted somehow, I deleted all TBRB downloads from my PC, redownloaded, re-decrypted, reformatted the USB HDD and copied it over, and I'm getting the same behavior.

Tried cIOS 222 and cIOS 223 in uLoader launch page, both work.

Help and thanks are much appreciated.

    Phil/TW

Torquewrench , try running the DLC off an SD card, I suspect the emulated nand could be the problem. You could also try defragging the hard drive.

I have the most recent version of the tool, afaik, its from the first page, and have installed all of the unlocking wads it creates, but still dont have all of the music.
    Help is greatly appreciated.
It might not be showing the GHWT DLC (the dlc from GHWT, not the GHWT imports) if you have not downlaoded the fix files yet, this is in the special offers section.

The hard drive is freshly formatted and the songs are all copied over so there shouldn't be any problem with fragmentation. Do you mean using NAND emulation off the SD card or .bins on the SD card?

BTW, DLC Manager doesn't see any of the .bin files, what should the directory structure be on the SD card for .bins?

    Thanks,

Didn't work, but nvm, got it working. I reinstalled the wads, did a fresh nand dump, and reinstalled the wads on the nand backup just to be sure, lost all my previous dlc, but it's all working now. Thx

Running from the SD worked and what I realized was I hadn't installed the r9JE wad, for some reason I thought I didn't need to if I was using NAND emulation. What's surprising is that all songs except for Abbey Road worked without the WAD. After installing the WAD NAND emulation through uLoader 5 works for all songs including Abbey Road.

Thanks for the help, now I've got to try RB2!

And to answer my own question about where the bin files go:

    SD://private/wii/data/r9je/*.bin

OK, correct me if I'm wrong here, but from the looks of the .bat file (in the dlc tools folder), it's possible to just copy the links into a download manager (after tmd is updated), then just move the downloaded files into the tools folder, and let it continue from there. I ask because it would be nice to have an indication of progress, and .bat files can't be used in every environment, eg. school, work.

    Hi,

First of all, thanks jtp for your excellent work.
As badz2211 said, I still have issues with some of the 4th gen songs of RB2.

When lauching the PCTools NTSC, I'm not able to download the 142/143, 168/169, 16a/16b songs (tells 404 not found) so the wadpacker script is not able to complete correctly. I've tried to duplicate some songs to fake it but the SHA-1 check fails and I'm only able to make it work through the manual way by launching wadpacker 0 302 (make it run until the index 141).

Then I create my unlock WAD for all generations, copy them to SD, and tranfer the bin files on my SD with DLCmanager.
After installing the WAD through wadmanager, I've got only half of the 4th songs appearing in the RB2 track list. But I miss many songs with index lower than 141....

For example, "Shania Twain - Any man of mine" appears but no "Lady Gaga" or "Jimmy Hendrix" songs. "Lady gaga"'s songs are somewhere around FF .. 104 index.

However, when listing the music store, every songs appeared as "Purchased" and those I downloaded on the SD card appeared as "Downloaded" (even Lady Gaga / Jimmy Hendrix).
When I try to download it again from the store, an error message tells me that I don't have enough available memory on WII internal storage to complete the operation.. I have more than 400 blocks available.

I've also tried to make it work through emulated NAND by using the NAND menu (app and tmd correctly copied) and launched through uloader. Same issue

Is there a way to make the remaining 4th gen songs work ?
I don't have any problem with the 3 other gens on RB2.

    Thanks.

I can play songs from SD, but recently i've bought an external HD so I'm trying to use the NAND emulation to load all the songs.

I've decrypted the songs and then moved the ticket and title folders under B:\nand (i give to my fat32 partition the name B.

The game load slowly (About 4-5 minutes to get the menu) and then I get an error saying that the index of my file is not right and i must download again a song to fix it.

I go to the music store (really slow to load) and when i try to download a song i got error 201017.

    What's wrong?

    P.S.

How i can load my save from Wii Nand?? I've tried copy save from nand but when i load the game it tells me if i want to create a new save

    P.P.S.

    In 4th Gen Download i've problem to download 13e, 13f, 164, 165, 166 and 167

    Quick question.
I have an emulated NAND on my usb hard drive to run through Uloader v 5.0 and when I go to download dlc on GH5 it says I only have 2,000 some odd block for download. But, on RB2 I seem to be okay (285 song)
Anyways. My question is Will this effect the amount of songs I can download, and if so how can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.
