It works for me with 223 v4. It doesn't matter which number cIOS is the one you pick (but if you followed this thread's guide, it should be 223 for AND AND ALL rhythm music games, otherwise the microphone will not be recognized, and you want the DLC to work, don't you? because it is not compatible between IOSes), what matters is the base IOS, and all RBs require the base to be 37. All instruments work under that in my case (black softmodded 4.1E)

The Hermes v4 installer only gives the option to install 223 with a base of 37 merged with 38. Is that what you mean? 'Cause I'm pretty sure that's how I have it installed now and it isn't working. This is the guide I used to install 222 and 223, and I used this guide for 224 v5. I'm going to re-install everything tomorrow just to make sure I've done everything right.

    Here is the recommended setup:
    202[60] v5.1
    222[38] v4
    223[38+37] v4
    224[57] v5.1

The guide has been updated to not use any mediafire links, sometimes mediafire goes down or just don't want to work for what ever reason.

Users are now able to use NUS Downloader to retrieve the required IOS files.

Just wondering if this is right, i did the offline install as said. I downloaded the files and put them in a folder called ios at the root of my SD then installed with the installer but i noticed they all said "hash bad" at the bottom when installing so are they installed right or not?

    Cheers in advance.

Hm, how do i find out what rev of 249 i have? I modded from a guide on here so it may be v20 for all i know and i know that has problems with things.

Try using IOS236 in place of IOS249.

Hmm, i must not have that one as it won't come up.

I originally used dogeggs guide and havent done much more to it at all, though i'm sure i installed 249 rev 20 after that to play Black Ops.
Sorry for being a pain, i'm a slow learner at times.
