Jusz tryin the quick way out but yea I precaution is the best way to prevent idiotic things, but thanxx to both of you guys....nd sorry about the ios222 question it's just that I used shadowsonic2's modding guide and I thought maybe the ios came with the pack, but thanxx tho,not as much attitude as I get with other moderators,so thanxx on that one.
Hey guys thanks for all the awesome work and advice you give out. Nobody made you help us out, and you spent your own free time with all of this. I might be a relative newbie, but I have tried to absorb as much info as possible before asking questions. And my possible super stupid question is: Do we have any info on whether these steps will work on 4.3u? I failed and updated after updating HBC. The reason I ask is that the article on hackmii.com says Nintendo updated IOS37 and IOS38, which are used as bases like you said. However, it didn't mention IOS60 which we use for IOS202. Can I still install IOS202 using this guide? Thanks in advance
Edit: Scratch that, I just downgraded to 4.1 (thanks to this website's updated 4.3 guide) so that whole question is null and void. Thanks again you wiihacks geniuses!

ok stomp i don't know what im doing wrong i had problems playing backups but i cen rip them useing USB loader gx and play them from the usb i just got done installing Hermes cIOS v4 and then i installed v5.1D and everything installed fine but however i still am not able to play backups.
If you installed hermes like this
IOS202 v4 (38 merged with 60) - or v5/5.1 (base 60)
IOS222 v4 (as 38)
IOS223 v4 (as 37 merged with 38)
IOS224 v5/5.1 (optional)
Then all should work. Perhaps you don't have something set right, is it all backups that don't work, or just some of them don't work? And last but not least, I see you are using USB Loader GX, certain versions have been known to have issues with Hermes cIOS, the most I can recommend is to try a different version of GX, or try a different USB Loader, I personally will not touch USB Loader GX.

well i was going throw the error list and i have'nt seen mine yet when i try to play Super mario Galexy 2 DVD-R burnt @ 2x i get Launching Game.... Init Drive... DVD Err(1178), Disk ID... Unknown Drive, Report 20081218 when useing NeoGamma r9 b26 and when im not useing no prog to load the disk and do it like im loading a normal disk. i get ? Unable to read the disk. Check the Wii Operation Manual for help troubleshooting.
I have done a syscheck if you would like to see. It was done before I installed hermes v4,v5.1D.
Unknown drive? Is your Wii capable of playing any type of backup disc?DVD Err(1178), Disk ID... Unknown Drive
DVD Err usually means that you have a bad burn or bad disc.
Disc ID error is usually a disc or ISO that is not recognized (it's not in Wii or GC format or is corrupted ISO).
You do know that you are posting NeoGamma problems in the Hermes cIOS thread? NeoGamma cannot use and does not support Hermes cIOS.
