Success! 5th generation 30 gig IPOD as WBFS partition for USB loaders - GUIDE
These are the steps as follows
connect Ipod to pc Format FAT 32
Run Itunes and assign the device a name
Close Itunes
Format the Ipod in wbfs manager
Disconnect Ipod from pc
Put Ipod into Disk Mode
Plug into the Wii
Run preferred Backup launcher
If the Ipod does not show up on the wii Power down the pod completely then up again, , it may be necessary to power off everything completely, the Wii as well
Tested Multiple times and working! :p
May work with other Ipods
We used 5.5 Gen 30 gb Video Ipod (black)
Boot 2 enabled wii updated to 4.2 U - followed 4.2 guide - http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html NOTE: we stopped after finishing part C8

Thanks for the post but For whatever reason I get stuck when I try to format the Ipod it either says that the disk is in use or an error occured. I have checked task manager and no apple programs are running but still it will not format the drive. Any ideas? I have a 5th Gen 30 Gig Ipod
