    Will i still be able to recover if the theme fails if i only have preloader as bootmii is only as ios?

    I don't know, you might and you might not. The systme menu is a integral part f the wii and could brick pretty hard. I would not reccommend messing around with it unless you have boot2.

    Just gave it a go before your post and it has worked, tried cfg usb loader and a couple of the wiiware games and everything seems to be running as normal. Thanks for all the advice

    well you could just go to priiloader then bootmii and install another nand or you could go to wad manager and install a new system menu

    If you get a full brick you're up a creek without a paddle. Listen up people: DO NOT mess around with themes unless you have bootmii as BOOT2 with a nad backup. Themes are the easiest way to brick a wii. You have been warned.

    I agree with junkmailturds, if you are not sure in anyway of how to do this, then dont bother. Yes it akes your wii look different but is it worth bricking it?

    Does it seem like you just can't repeat it enough?

    If you don't believe junkmail then go and read the 3.2 to 4.1 thread on costum menus and see all the wonderful experiences that the people there had. Also check out other forum sites and see all the great failed success stories there too.

    ok so is there any way to get bootmii as boot2 on a wiibought last year (2009)? right now i can only install bootmii as a iso

    It's something which you cannot install on post August'ish 2008 Wiis.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
