    Something confuses me!
    Do I need to uninstall old preloader and then install priiloader, or I can even install it over top without uninstalling first?
    Thanks!

    @WiiJohn

    I found the problem.
    It was a problem with Priiloader.
    this treath can be found on this site (hope it can be posted)
    HOWTO: Install Priiloader to help prevent system bricks if you cannot use Bootmii as boot2 Ade's Softmodding Wii blog

    look in this section :
    "....There is currently a big affecting some Wii consoles where even when setting the system menu as the boot option, the wii will continue to load priiloader first. Download a beta of v.03 from here which should fix it:2shared - download Installer.dol
    rename the installer.dol to boot.dol and install over the top of the old version....
    "

    So I hope this will help others to solve the problem.

    greetz and thanks

    When finished select 'system menu hacks' in the Priiloader menu
    To start with just enable
    'skip disc update check' and the region free ones .
    save then go into settings
    Autoboot = system menu
    Return = system menu
    Save.

    To check Priiloader is working, power off, then on. You should go to system menu page.
    ...
    No matter what settings I select, I always get Priiloader menu when I power up my Wii. I'd like boot to system menu as before. Any ideas? Thanks.

    John Question.

    In your instructions you mention to reinstall the system menu if you have preloader installed.

    I have simply installed Prilloader v2 over top of Preloader 0.30R.

    I ran into no issues with the 2 wii's i applied this method to.

    Would it be wise for me to reinstall by reinstalling the system menu?

    Ca Start screen alternates

    Have done all the softmodding correctly
    Have 4.1U wii with priiloader installed, set start screen to system but on
    every 2nd startup goes back to priiloader screen.
    all other mods work perfect. (e.g no updates from disc works great)
    any ideas??

    Downloaded priiloader again and this time got ver 32.
    Thanks for all the help. Its all good.

    Quick question:
    I just edited the hacks.ini for v481, but noticed the last section in the ini:
    Code:
    [DUMMY HACK - SHOULD NOT BE SEEN]
    version=1
    offset=0x00000000
    value=0x00000000
    Do I need to keep this or can it go?

    Thanks.

    Arrow PriiLoader rev32

    In the installation description for PriiLoader WiiJohn mentions :

    " Download here, Priiloader rev32 "

    After installation of PriiLoader, my console starts with the PriiLoader screen instead of the System Menu screen ?
    (except if I shut down from within PriiLoader)
    ... and I noticed its not rev32.

    I know that many people have this problem and it is advised to install v0.1 but I expected it would be solved bij rev32.

    Is the link incorrect ?
    How can we solve this issue ?

    Well I have learned a lot on WiiHacks the last couple of .... nights.

    @hack4wii
    Your version should be rev32, I'll check the download.

    @Mirkec23
    If you move preloader with system installation it will work,
    you can install Priiloader and that will remove it.

    @deech
    rev32 does work and is official, other editions amy work but are unofficial mods.

    @pikewii
    It should be OK, no need to reinstall

    @instrumentman35
    Your version should be rev32, I'll check the download.

    @GinsuVictim
    Its not needed
