who can help me out here?

If I install the V02 of priiloader then after reboot I get the white menu where I can choose : system menu, homebrew ....

but the moment I click on the system menu, then I get a black screen and nothing more.

so I went back to the preloader in package 1 of the how to hack 4.2e.

with this one it works, but what does not work is :
when I set : autoboot = system menu and return = system menu
    then save it,
    then reset the wii
then restart, then I always get the priiloader menu again?
any idea what I can do?

I'm trying for hours now, nothing seems to work?
    thx for any advice.
ohh, I also have a hdd with two partitions,
but no boot file in the root of hdd or sd, so that's not it?

hope someone can help me out over here.
because if I do understand it, I have the nand.bin file in backup, and the boomii is not installed as a boot2 but Ios.
if I do not have priiloader installed, when the wii gets brick I can not restore my wii with my nand.bin file because priiloader is not installed...correct?

thanks for any tip or suggestion.

Did you edit the hacks.ini file and use the 482 lines of the file.

I don't have preloder but I've trying to install priiloader a different way for a while now... Where do I start from on your guide if I don;t need to uninstall anything first? And how can I avoid bricking my system?

I don't understand all this part either:

    Copy wad into SD\wad
    Install with Wad manager

install IOS60-patched.wad – for 4.1 make sure you do this before you install Priiloader
    Download here, IOS60patched

install IOS70-patched.wad – for 4.2 make sure you do this before you install Priiloader
    Download here, IOS70patched

    Copy wad into SD\wad
    Install with Wad manager

    Download here, Priiloader rev32

    Copy directory to SD\apps

    Get hacks.in file here,
    Hacks.ini all

    Edit text file, use lines with 449 for 4.1U, 450 for 4.1E, 481 for 4.2U, and 482 for 4.2E

    Sorry! I need some help

@Kinomi - Your SD card has three sections that are referred to as Root, the Apps Folder, and the Wad folder. The Root directory is just like that of the PC hard drive; the first level and one can copy files to the Root or to folders such as the Wad folder. You are being asked to copy the wad file into the Wad folder depicted as SD:\Wad. If you wad file was named Kinomi and you copied it to the Wad Folder on the SD card it would then be shown as SD:\Wad\Kinomi.

People installing priiloader usually do so after doing a softmod and so have installed Homebrew apps (.dol files) and wad files. Did you successfully complete a softmod of your Wii? If not, do not install priiloader. It also does not appear that you know what firmware or system menu your Wii is on-that is the IOS60patched versus the IOS70patched bit of text.

Either you had someone else do your softmod or you are starting at the wrong part of the softmod. Did you post an introduction post-if you do, you will receive a welcome post with links to a site guide and the tutorials. You are not currently ready to try to install preloader.

Ohh I thought I was installing priiloader to protect me from bricking my console before doing anything else.

Hmm now I'm confused... I was following this tutorial in order.

I have the homebrew channel installed and started doing priiloader but I couldn't get it to work.. After loading it it just got stuck on an info screen.

    My wii is 4.2E
