if you have a backup, it doesnt matter what version wii you have, you can repair it.

Cool thanks, I'm pretty sure I can do this. Too bad that site doesn't accept Paypal :/

*edit* Is someone still willing to do this for me? I really don't want to ship it out of the US. I think there was a dude from Canada who offered? If I did that what all would it involve? And how much?

Hi, newbie in need of help on bricked wii ??

Can someone please point me in the right direction to get some help on unbricking my wii?

My wii has the original wiikey 1.99 beta installed. I had the homebrew channel until I loaded Mario Galaxy 2. Requested update. Dumb me did it. Im at 4.3u. Lost home brew channel. I tired to do the SSBB with fix 4.3 r6, and it told me it could not install the homebrew channel for some reason. I took a picture. It says " This Installer can not continue" There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii. Please note that we will not use a fake signed IOS due to security reasons. ETC....

So I tried the process over again, and when I tried to load the WAD again, it told me, " loaded 1, 16 failed. Anyway, now I have a black screen, and no Wii menu. When I put my SD card in, I do get the BOOTMII screen, that gives me the option to reinstall my saved NAND. I have the saved Nand.bin, but do not have the keys.bin. I tired to recover it, and it went thru all the green blocks and now they are grey. I still have a black screen.

What am I doing wrong, or what do you professionals recommend to recover my wii?

    Thanks so Much.

Ok, well I tried again after formatting the SD card, left all the emulator files off this time around, recopied the NAND that I had saved from last year. Ran bootmii again, and it found a lot more green blocks this time around during the simulation. Started the process when it was done with the simulation. Said it finished. I unpluged the power, plug it back in. Turned it on, and wala !! YEAAAAAAAAAA My Wii is repaired back to 4.1 now. I have my menu back.. Thank You TEAM TWIIZERS.

The only question I have now, is how do I play games that have the updates built into the disk, without having to take the updates?? Thanks Guys

If Hardmodded, your chip should have an update block feature. You can also remove the update partition from the disk with Wiiscrubber or BrickBlocker.

If Softmodded, Install Priiloader (Only If you have 3.2 - 4.0 - 4.1 - 4.2) and block online and disk updates. If the game blackscreens all you have to do is install the Missing IOS.

Mauifrog also has a guide on installing Missing IOS on hardmodded Wiis. If you can't find the links then PM me, but try to find them.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Do you think you can solder the nand of the board and put a new one on yourself?
If you give me your nand dump I can post you a pre-programmed nand chip to you.
Is much easier than getting an infectus. However I still have one lying around unused...
If you think I helped you please click the little thanks button
Send me a PM if you have any questions regarding unbricking with infectus mod chip or post a message in here http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...installed.html
