Now for the DLC
Ok this is where i went wrong and i think others have done the same. If you have the NTSC version on GH you can only install the NTSC DLC file and same if you have the PAL version you can only install the PAL DLC files. From what i have seen there is no way to change the region of the WAD files that the DLC uses so make sure you have downloaded the correct ones, If you dont user the correct ones you wont see them in the archive but they will install ok.
Here is a link to Dogeggs post where he has uploaded some of his
[REMOVED DEAD LINK]
Ok you have 2 options both work for NTSC but only 1 option for the PAL at this momment in time
Option 1: (NTSC ONLY)
1. Download there WAD file [REMOVED LINKS TO PIRATED MATERIAL]
2. Change your Shop to NTSC if you are on a PAL System but have the NTSC copy.
3. Load up Guitar Hero WT/5 and access the Shop so it download the shop and its track listings
4. Turn the wii off
5. Copy the Wad file to your wad folder on the SD card
6. run Wad Manager on your Wii and Naviagate to the wad folder on your SD Card and install the WAD file
7. Once installed reset the cosole by pressing the Home Button on the Wiimote
8. Load up Guitar Hero WT/5 and access the Shop again and you should see that all the songs have a nice green tick against them to say you have already bought the song. Nice and easy
9. To download to SD card you need to load the Game up from the Disc Channel, so far that is the only way yo do this.
Option 2: (NTSC/PAL)
1. Download DLC songs you need 'Make sure you are using the correct region DLC to the game'
For example if you are using NTSC you download file would look like this
Guitar.Hero.5-Yeah.Yeah.Yeahs.Dull.Life.USA.DLC.Wii-OneUp
And for the PAL verion it would be
Guitar.Hero.5-Yeah.Yeah.Yeahs.Dull.Life.PAL.DLC.Wii-OneUp
2. extract the 2 files for each song which is the SONG WAD and the TITLE WAD and place them into you WAD folder on the SD card. Easiest way i found to do this is create a folder in the WAD for each song as you can only install 1 at a time and not multiple.
3. Insert the SD card into the WII and load up the OneUP DLC channel.
4. once this is loaded it looks just like the WAD manager and works the same except for the install.
5. Keep the IOS the default one and press A then press A again for load from SD card
6. select the song name WAD file and install it as a SONG WAD
7. once the song is installed do the same for the Title wad and install it as a TITLE WAD
8. once complete start up your GH game
9. Go the the archive and see if the song is there and it should be on your Wii Memory.
If you cannot see the file follow these next steps
1. Boot the Wii up and Load the WAD MANAGER
2. Select the Song Wad file and Uninstall it
3. Select the Title Wad file and Uninstall it
4. you may get an error on removal but nothing to worry about
5. Reboot the Wii into Data Managment and Delete the GH song File save
6. Exit and load up the OneUP DLC channel.
7. once this is loaded it looks just like the WAD manager and works the same except for the install.
8. Keep the IOS the default one and press A then press A again for load from SD card
9. select the song name WAD file and install it as a SONG WAD
10. once the song is installed do the same for the Title wad and install it as a TITLE WAD
11. once complete start up your GH game
12. Go the the archive and see if the song is there and it should be on your Wii Memory.
and that should be it.
