I'm a little confused, what would you install system menu using NUS downloader? I came across NUS downloader when i was researching on Opera browser on wii, and the more I read the more confused i am. I had just downloaded the "Opera Internet Channel UPDATE v512 USA.rar" and i don't get why would i Need NUS downloader to pack the opera to a wad when it already comes with one.

Why download a potentially renamed, brick making Opera Channel v512 USA when you can download a 100% guaranteed working one from Nintendo's own servers? It saves Googling and reduces risk, that's why I use NUSD.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I would like to know how you download from nintendo's own server... I don't see where in NUSdownloader allows you to do that.

    Nintendo
    Update
    Server
    Downloader

It's what NUSD does mate. Amazing really that Nintendo still store the really old System Menu and IOS on their servers.

You are the man lol! Took me awhile to understand it...since I already have system menu updated, I do not need to download it using NUS. I can just select the IOS version that my wii is using and download the available channels.

    CorrecT?

While this guide does show IOS and menu being selected you, of course are free to download anything you wish. Best not to fiddle with your System IOS and Menu though. Great app this though, very useful.
