    Greetings.

I downloaded NUSD and updated the database( - Version: (12/5)). It seems that I must upgrade my IOS249 to rev. 14(...) so I followed the first steps from yor tutorial and tried to select it. I selected both "last version" and "v6520" but I got the following message:
    " --- IOS249 ---

This IOS is a stub, meaning it has no functionality besides simply existing. You will not be able to run any code from a stub IOS."
from which I understand that I must stop...
What can I do from here on?

    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards.

it seems like you are unaware of what ios249 is... run cios48rev14 installer and this will install ios249

Hi I have went thru various threads, but am unsure as to what i should be doing.

I DL'd Spilter cell double agent. burned onto DVD-r with imgburn, the game loads then hits black screen after initial remote advice screen, and then nintendo licence screen. I got IOS patcher and it tells me IOS is I<IOS 30>, I go to Wii Scrubber, and follow instroction but sys says only IOS9 - 64-v516.wad [0x1] [ox5CE00][0x17CD80][3]??

They dont match??? I am unsure what to do next? I was thinking I need to download and install and run Ios30??? but dont if i should be looking at NUs d/l... If so once installed do i use wad manager, and how do i make system run with that ios? I hope this makes sense.

have 4.2e, have hbc, neogamma R8 beta 7, IOS249 (rev14) hope thats the required info.

    :-)

Great tutorial. One question, well i guess moreso a comment. I see nothing about common.key-bin. What is it? What is its purpose, and how do a person obtain it?

Is there something on the site which has a clear understanding of what it is, its purpose, and how to obtain the key?

    NUSD-System creation

It looks like I can create a WAD for an older system version. I currently have 4.2. Will I brick my wii if I try to load an older system menu WAD?

Yes you will brick. 4.2 is a System Menu which you shouldn't downgrade form, unless you have bootmii/boot2 and a slightly mental side.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
