showmiiwads should NOT be listed as an optional download. It's a MUST. Won't work w/o it. Also, do not wait until the FAQ's to tell us that we have to pull the folders from the NAND folder to put into the root of the SD card or the USB drive. Part of writing good instructions is put all steps in sequential order. Messie's guide to installing Homebrew on Sys Menu 4.2 is very good. Anyways, thanks for the Triiforce tutorial nonetheless. It's better than some Triiforce tutorials on the non-wiihacks sites out there.

FIRST set your FAT32 partition as Primary Active, then make your WBFS partition with WBFS and then make sure that it is ALSO set as Primary, but not active.

    I hope this helps others.
Thank you for this! Also, it doesn't matter which order the partitions are. For me, my first partition is the WBFS and the second is the FAT32 and it still works great.

Basically all you need to do to make two partitions work at the same time for USB loading and Triforce loading is set the FAT 32 partition to primary, active and the WBFS partition to just primary (doesn't need to be active.)

I was reading the readme file for v9 and it said something about deleting or renaming the 00000002.tik file to _00000002.tik in the ticket/00000001 folder of the backed up nand.

When I did the backup through bootmii I had the 00000001 folder, but the wad2nand backup I don't have the folder. Either way my system hangs at a black screen everytime I play a VC game from triiforce. While in game I press home and try to exit to Wii Menu.

Is there another work around for this?

I'm not looking directly at my sd card so I may have an extra 0 in the folders above and just wanted to point this out before someone says I'm looking in the wrong spot

The only other problem I'm having is using the mrc ss version. When loading the triiforce fowarder it reboots the sys menu and I have to power cycle my harddrive in order for it to work.

If I can get these 2 problems fixed. It would be great

    Thanks,
    Jason

I just rename the entire /ticket/00000001/ to ticket/00000001xx and it works just fine.
I've yet to find a game that hangs on exit.

The simple rule I use is if I Home+Reset the wii restarts, done.
If I Home+Reset and the game restarts, Home+Return will reboot.

    -or-

Just wait a few more days...Waninkoko is final testing cIOS v18
This entire issue, along with the lack of DVD support in EMU mode, should be history.

If you like you can read about it on Twitter (goes by hackinblack) or there's probably a post at gbatemp.
(I don't use gbatemp because it's painfully slow with way too many adobe scripts)

as I think it is pretty good. Any way to change the vid settings on the emulated NAND?

(I prefer not to redump the NAND)
One way to try would be to edit the shared2\sys\sysconf file with a hex editor.
The byte after IPL.PGS sets the progressive video mode.
Valid settings are 0 or 1

(If you try this, make sure you make a backup copy of sysconf first!)

The only other way is to make a new backup with SimpleFSDumper 0.42 and copy the file, but take note that this will also copy the current settings for all devices (like the order of the wiimotes in Triiforce).

If you can read source, See http://devkitpro.svn.sourceforge.net.../libogc/conf.c
    for more info.
