Just curious. Can I install an IOS to the dumped nand? Let`s say like I want to install IOS 53,55,56. Would it be possible to do this if I had the wads for the IOSs? Just curious, since some of the VC and Wiiware games may need these to play. OR Do I just install these IOSs and re-dump my nand?

Edit: Just wanted to say thanx again for an awesome tutorial. I got Triiforce to work great on my Wii. This will save a Wiis from bricking since they can install the wads to the dumped nand. You screw up your dump, just dump again or if you saved the first dump you used use that again. I am so hooked on the Wii my PSP is starting to collect dust, lol

Q1. When I launch triiforce from the forwarder, I am getting a different version of triiforce (0.42).
A1. Check the name triiforce folder in the apps directory. The forwarder looks for a folder named triiforce, not triiforce_mrc or anything else.

I am using the new usb version only is anyone else having problems with the forwarder loading the 0.42 default triiforce?

If this helped in anyway press thanks. Thank you

It may have been Castlevania Rebirth that I had to run FreeTheWads on to change the region to get it to work, but mine was Japanese to begin with. Is yours?

The new USB version must not be finding the boot.dol then if it is loading the 0.42 version. Personally I still launch mine from an sd card on SD:\apps\triiforce but USB:\apps\triiforce should work too. Are you using the original forwarder to launch triiforce? That might be why as I think it only looks on the SD card. There's another forwarder available but I can't seem to access the download to link it to you.

Try this forwarder first. I don't know if this is the one, as there is another one, but try it and let me know.

This may be a stupid question, but on the first few steps, when I open up the nand-aes-dump file, it says "neither nand.bin nor keys.bin found, aborting"

I'm guessing I have to put my nand files in a certain place for them to be found?

Thank you very much Sinyk. The forwarder you suggested did the trick and now the only time I need a SD card is when I need to run bootmii. Everyone should give mass props to Sinyk for all his hard work.

Glad it worked Dragonbyrd. I will update the Triiforce_Pack_R2 with that forwarder.

uberbdon: Make sure you put the nand.bin file in the nand-tools folder before running nand-aes-dump. I will check and make sure the guide said to do that.

I don't think the guide mentions it, but thanks for the quick reply

hehe, it does now! I just fixed it and I'm going to fix the triiforce pack next.

Updated the pack. Now there's a new Triiforce_Pack_2.1 with two forwarders:

One looks for boot.dol in SD:/apps/triiforce
One looks for boot.dol in USB:/apps/triiforce (I think this one also looks on an SD card as well, but the first one does not. I haven't tested this)

    1. In ShowMiiWads, go to the Options menu and select Change NAND Backup Path.

    2. Navigate to where the nand folder (from step 1-5) is located, select it and press OK.

    3. You should see a long list of everything that is in the nand backup listed. I recommend not messing with any of these files!
i navigated to the new nand folder and hit OK and nothing shows up in the list

EDIT: you have to select "View" and select "ShowMiiNand"
