    Does the MULTI CONSOLE NO AUTO version actually load images from a USB nand? Interesting. I don't remember changing anything that should have affected that.
    Thanks for that...you didn't have to bold it

    And now for the answer to loading PNG's off USB instead of only SD,

    The logic is wrong in the original source to allow it to read from USB when it's in USB mode
    A simple change would fix this.

    void __Gui_DrawPageBanners(int page){
    // Draw background
    DrawPng((void *)background_png,0,0);

    u16 i=0;
    u8 covcol=0;
    u8 covrow=0;

    if(page==paginasLeidas){
    printf("\n\nLoading page banners from SD");
    for(i=page*COLS*ROWS;i<page*COLS*ROWS+COLS*ROWS && i<totalTitles;i++){
    //read banner
    char filepath[64];

    if(SDmode){
    u32 size=0;

    Change the if(SDmode) to if(!SDmode) and it will read the banners only from the USB when in USB Mode.
    This will also tell it to read banners only from the SD in SD mode.

    I think this is what the coders meant to code here...(that else they pasted the code backwards in the "If/Else" statements)

    A little thought and I'm sure we can come up with a "if fails to read from SD, read from USB".
    Maybe later tonight when I get back to my wii I'll look into it.
    (or maybe it would be better to fix it and leave it as USB reads from USB, SD reads from SD ??)

    I'm thinking that in the non-auto version, SDMode is getting toggled to ''true'' but... the way the logic is written here, that would mean it's reading the NAND from the SD and only the banners from the USB...very odd.

    I'll mess around with it a bit, maybe tomorrow. I just spent the last few hours dumping my WBFS drive to my computer so that i can make a fat32 partition and play around with triiforce on a USB device along with using a usb loader.

    I will probably make it so that depending on what you select from a future version of the MULTI CONSOLE .dol, it will look in the matching location for images. It seems like there are a lot more people interested in NOT using an SD card for images. I know I would rather have them on the USB device as well because I have my 16GB SDHC card for emulators and roms, but since it's SDHC, triiforce will have none of it.

    I also still need to finish my analysis of game compatibility with the various nand dump types as I seem to be encountering new issues with different dumps.

    Another interesting thing I may look into doing is what those guys on gbatemp did by creating a cIOS 199 to load triiforce with (which is based off of either rev 14 or rev 15) which allows you to install rev 16 to your Wii and triiforce will still work. I would prefer if the cIOS 199 is based off of rev 14 though as there have been enough bug stories about rev 15.

    A very nice side effect.

    (Edit/Deleted. Since I always ran SM3/NES from an emulator, I didn't realize it worked that way before.... :P )

    I just verified that changing the (SDMode) to "not SDMode" in the source makes it load the PNG's from the USB.
    I did this by re-compiling up the by console wads, copying all my PNG's to the USB and now I'm running with no SD card in the wii and the banners are fine.

    my games saved my position as well whenever i would exit via the Wii Menu option.

    Yay, WiiFlow still works. Now that you have verified that it works, I'll whip up a few new versions and post them.

    Tomorrow. :P

    Thanks Buddha its working with that.

    I changed /ticket/00000001 and still have the same problem with home+wii menu any ideas?

    I'm also still running out of memory from saving when playing for awhile any help/advice with either of these problems would be awesome.

    Sinyk,

    Don't do that just yet.

    There's still one thing it uses the SD card for...saving the configs.

    Too late to look at it tonight.....tomorrow. zzzzzzzzzzz

    A huge thank you to you both for constantly tweaking this, I love Triiforce, it is my favourite extra for the Wii (after modding of course), and the more that can be done to support USB the better imo (even separate forwarders for each console aimed at the USB directory would be great! )

    For my little bit in return, I will try & create a more exhaustive images pack and
    share it here for everybody to enjoy, and updated as I go along, its size will be large and it will only be the one directory as it is aimed at those like me who have 100s of WADs in their USB emu nand (doesn't stop anyone taking it of course - it can easily be cherry picked to the unique nature of the naming of the programmes). Trackers are making it easy as they pack the VC & WiiWare into larger packs and usenet covers anything missing

    I'm loving it

    Hi. I did everything the guide said but I have a problem. I use an sdhc card that was fully functional with usbloader gx but after following the guide usbloader stopped recognising the card. Says no sd card found.

    My setup before the triiforce setup was:
    Priiloader 0.30
    System menu 4.0E
    cIOSv38 rev14
    Hermes 222/223
    I didn't change any of the above in order to install triiforce. Nor was suggested in the guide. Also triiforce didn't work but i knew that from the begining that sdhc cards are not supported.

    Not that the card is recognised from wii and homebrew channel and I load usbloader from that card but I can not save any settings from the loader.

    I have formated the card again with fat32 but no change. Card found by wii, homebrew channel and priiloader but nit from the usbloader.(Tried three different versions, other loaders but no luck)

    Forwarder Question

    I know this has been asked before but does anyone know of a Triiforce MRC usb forwarder. I've searched and couldn't find one.

    I tried using Customizemii to make a complex forwarder but couldn't really figure it out so I made a Triiforce mrc channel instead. It works fine but if a forwarder already exists it would be a little nicer. Or possibly just point me to a tut for creating usb forwarders if one exists.

    Thanks this tutorial was amazingly helpful.
