I would like to add that TriiForce is broken with cIOS38 rev16.
It works fine with rev14 and rev15, but rev16 = Fail.

Yep. cios 16 changed something else so the fix that was issued with v7 of triiforce does not handle whatever changed with cios 16 so if you really want to use triiforce, don't upgrade just yet!

messie: No I didn't make an auto usb one yet that lets you select console type. I thought I would try to make the graphical one first and then worry about auto loading, though I don't know how long it willt ake me to figure out the graphical menu.

thanks for this great resource here sinyk. I'm up and running on the sdcard for now, maybe i'll try adding in the usb partition tomorrow since I can stuff more on there.

Now if I could just figure out why I cannot reboot from triiforceMRC to the system menu. Stuck on black screen like many others have mentioned.

Either try a different PC or, from what I've read, Simple FS Dumper0.42 now can dump a complete NAND

-Also- I highly reccomend running PimpMyWii to make sure the backup NAND you are going to create has the proper cios on it.
Ah, thanks for the quick response. Sure enough, my other computer ran it just fine.

So I'm having a bit of a problem. This right have been answered earlier, but after the first 20 pages I kinda gave up... So my apologies if this is a repeat question BUT...

I'm getting an error saying "I can't find the title list" and it then either sends me back to HBC (If accessed from there) or causes a dump if from the installed wad.

I'm looking over the instructions and I followed the steps... to be sure I'm repeating them later on today so I have time to forget the steps I did and not make the same mistake...

But just in case I figured I'd post here.

I'm using the pre-made pack the installation.

    Thanks in advance...

Having a bit of trouble here. I got the NAND stuff all sorted, installed all my WiiWare and VC games (which I put on my usb drive), and got all the games images (which those and triiforce itself are on my sd card). But when I try to run any game, it very briefly says something (could be "loading", though I really can't make it out because it's so fast) and then says press a button to continue. When I do, it just restarts the console.

Is it a sign that my usb drive isn't compatible with homebrew? I checked the gbatemp wiki and it said it's not yet tested, so I don't know.

It's possible. I have never tried a hard drive that was incompatible so I don't know what it would do in that event. Have you tried getting a game to run off of an sd card with any success?

    As a Proof-of-Concept, here's what I did.

Here are the Triiforce_MRC_v7_AUTOUSB channels I created by console type.

    triiforce_consoles.rar

I included a text file with the changes I made to the source, to keep the GNU/GPL happy.

They all use AUTO USB and can be loaded either with HBC (re-name the DOL's to BOOT.DOL) or as Channels via the WADS.

There are only 8 because it didn’t make sense to me to have separate channels for SEGA-NonCD and Sega-CD and I have never seen any Virtual Console Arcade wads that use “D” (44), so I combined those with NeoGeo (most all VC Arcade games are NeoGeo anyways).

I suck at coming up with graphic/sound ideas for the wads, so if someone wants to use the WADs you may want to improve their look/sound.

As soon as someone figures out why the EMU NAND doesn't reset back to the internal NAND at the end of a VC, I'll be all set.
    Hey smyers75,

    Nice work on the consoles.
I've been looking everywhere for exactly what you did here.

    They work perfect for me.
Have you givin any thought to making these iso so they will run on wiiflow and usb config? That would be sweet.

I have one question though, what is the music playing on the neo/geo wad?
i've heard it before but i can't think of the game.
