once you have decrypted the nand file into a bunch of folders, you do not need to have the nand.bin file on the sd card. It's just taking up space. As for the key, i think i have it on mine. Is it required? I don't remember.

I never thought about trying to decrypt it on the SD card, nor that anyone would try it, so I guess for clarity sake, I will say copy the nand.bin file that BootMii dumps to your computer before doing anything else, and then move all the files back to the root of the sd card.

Okay so i am the only idiot that did it from the card lol .... i just assumed it would be better so i did it all from sd card hahhaha ...I actually have it now and trying to get pictures on it at the moment . I made folder triiforce_mrc .

just for clarity you do have to have the nand-dec file on the sd drive correct or no to that one also ?

It's alright. The directions don't say NOT to do it on the SD card, but there is always the risk of running out of space on the SD card and then files get lost.

Make sure folder triiforce_mrc is on the root of the sd card as well.

nand-dec? erm... It doesn't ring a bell. Was this one of the folders/files created from the decryption?

also i download the pack of images from triiforce ...i made the folder but still no images show up. Do i have to rename them something for them to associate with the files ? I do not understand .Thanks for all your help so far. This has been one huge lesson for me on this. Normally i can figure things out but this has thrown me for a loop. The whole triiforce

now if i can just get images correct i will be all set i think.

You should not have that option if you are using my auto sd loading .dol file. The option should say "Reboot to Wii Menu" or something like that. If you are loading games from an sd card, use the auto sd loading file I made. The one that lets you select the nand has that error.

Right on. Glad to hear it all worked out well. If you follow step 6 of the guide, it tells you how to create your own images.

(Nuts, I thought there was a comment section about donations.)

you don't need to keep nand.bin on your card. The only reason you need to put it back on your sd card is if you brick you wii and need to recover it using bootmii. As for the nand.dec, I don't think you need that either. If i recall, that is short for nand."decrypted". I think this file is created during one of the steps from Post #55 and is not needed in order for triiforce to work (considering that file doesn't exist if you use a simpleFsDumper nand.)
