to get cIOS_rev17-installer.dol to work it needs to be renamed boot.dol (ive made that mistake before lol) and the wad should install once you have got cios rev 17 working but you should use wad manager 1.7 it works alot better

have 249rev17base38 and 250rev20 /21 base56 in place, set your usbloader to use 250, doesn't mess up anything.

Also (don't know where my mind is) I can't for the life of me figure out how to install the cIOS_rev17-installer.dol. I think it's supposed to load up as an option on the homebrew channel, but nope.
I don't know what to do anymore.
I hope I don't get in trouble for not reading the forums and checking google and all because I have and nothing seems to work.
If there is some one out there that would be willing to help me baby step it I would be so grateful and if not that is okay too.
I'm wiling to completely remod my wii too if that would make it easier. 4.3u
    Thanks!
You got a numerical error code? -> Error index
if you modded your wii with mauifrog's softmod guide you are perfectly set and should have a good 249 and 250 in place. Think about using Multimodmanager to install wads etc. See the FAQ in the softmod basics link. Good luck

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

Okay, I have got as far as Getting the Triiforce Channel up and running (Thanks Again). I have more question/problems I could use your help with (Please).

On step 1 Section 6 in this installation guide when I use the command prompt and copy paste "NAND-bin2raw.exe nand.bin nand_dec.bin" I get an error and the program stops windows asks if I want to send it. Is this normal? I'm using windows XP. I have also tried this with windows 7 but it doesn't do a thing. I do get a file
"nand" and it's contents are shared1, sys, ticket and title. if I right click the file it's self the size is 291MB (306,049,361) and size on disk is 294MB (308,678,656).

Also when following step 4 Section 9 it say's "Finally, copy the contents of the nand folder created in the step above and paste them on the root of your sd card or USB device. ***If the nand files are anywhere else, triiforce will not load.". Where/what exactly does this save? And were do they go? Just on the drive and in no specific folder?

My USB drive has these files on it apps, triiforce_mrc and WAD on it.

    Sorry and Thank You again.

your second question yes all the folders in side the nand folder go on the root of your usb in no folder

On section 1 step six my PC running XP when I do the command prompt it starts up goes for around a minute or so (lots of scrolling numbers) then stops and says "zestig.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. With the send don't send option". When I do it on the Windows 7 PC it goes a bit quicker (better machine) then says "zestig.exe has stopped working." With the button to "close program".
They both appear to stop in the exact same place when I compare the cmd boxes side by side.
The only difference I can see is the size of the NAND folder (when I go to properties) it creates. XP creates a Nand folder with the sizes of "Size 291 MB (306,049,289 bytes), Size on disk 294 MB (308,678,656 bytes) Contains 1,237 Files, 576 Folders".
Windows 7 creates A NAND folder (when I go to properties) it's "Size 259 MB (271,960,016 bytes) Size on disk 261 MB (274,472,960) Contains 1,193 Files 556 Folders".
I ran them both as administrator and normally. both without "".
*edit again * I have tried all the steps from page 108 also to no avail with the UAC turned off on Windows 7. I'll keep trying!
    Thanks Again!
The number seem different, but for some reason they both seem (to my untrained eye) to stop at the same place.
Sorry to be so difficult here
    Any ideas?
Thank so much again for your time and consideration I have been racking my brain with this this for about four or five days now.
Also (don't know if this means anything) I have also done the show me wad's program and put games onto my NAND and that seemed to go flawless. I don't know if it would work or I would get an error if the previous section when creating the "new NAND with the command prompt" ran a fowl.
The games seem to go onto it just fine and appear at the bottom.
When I put everything on the root of the USB drive though and start Triiforce it starts briefly then just goes back to the wii menu.
    Thanks!

*edit again* Got another NAND copy from the wii and tried both PC's again to no avail. Same three folders "extract" into the new NAND folder, sys, ticket and title.
Sorry to sound like a winer.
    Thanks Again Though!

Could this possibly be a problem with my NAND? You think trying set my wii back to like 4.2 or something would do it? It's 4.3u now modded with Smash Bros.
    Thanks Again For Your Help.

I had the same problems you guys are having, dumped the Nand numerous times, tried over and over again. What worked for me was formatting my drive with this
    Fat32Formatter

This allows you to format any size drive to fat32, no stupid 32 gig windows restrictions

It may not work for you lads but might be worth a try.

having said that Triiforce is easily the most unstable app I have ever used on the WII, the concept is great but it does not really deliver

    Hi,
I followed the guide on page 1, and went with the USB option.

When I click the forwarder, the splash screen appears for a few seconds, then it reboots to the main system menu.

Does anyone know why this could be? Am I missing some wads maybe? I softmodded mine using the 4.3E guide for IndianaPwns on here, if that helps.
