    thanks Also another question
Is there any emulation software for WII to play old games or wads which will not consume any space on the NAND of the wii like Triiforce?

Go to wiibrew.org and you will find ALOT of emulators which can be played from SD or USB HDD. They do not take up any space on your NAND.

They can't play WAD files though. You need to use ROMS for emulators.

Triiforce doesn't use your NAND memory either it uses an emulated NAND as im sure you've read.

Lol you wont brick installing triiforce. It makes no difference that your wii is a black wii and if it works on 4.2u and 4.2j there is no reason it shouldn't work on yours.
    Damn I suck!!!!

What more verification do you need? If you can softmod your Wii then you can do this. If any bricking is to occur it won't be because of this since all this is touching is a "Virtual Nand".

    TRiiFORCE and NINTENDO WFC

    Sort of double post...

Will games such as excite bike or Texas Hold'em Tournament connect to Nintendo WFC?

If so, what it the process? Anyone know?

As I said from my previous posts that the guide itself is a little confusing and misleading but you sorta have to think about it a bit. I initially was running ALL homebrew off my SD card, when I inserted my USB thumbdrive with the USB only forwarder and USB only Trriforce, I REMOVED the SD card completely so I can see what I was doing. On Page 1 Step 3-5 it says it should actually state, select USB since that is where your SOURCE files are located. After installing I remove WAD Manager from USB Thumbdrive and then put my SD card back in. The forwarder does indeed correctly forward to the USB drive. I have also stated that the it does matter which USB port you plug into the back of Wii. Looking from the front, you have to insert on the back left even though I was able to install it perfectly fine having it in the back right, but it wouldn't run from the back right, on the back left (looking from the front of it.)

The only heart burn I have right now is game loading is some what slow. I was playing Adventure Island and the pauses between levels is annoying as heck. I may switch to SD loading to see the speed difference.

OP has done a great job writing the guide, but step 3 has to be refined or broken up into 2 separate sections, one for SD users and one for USB users. The current step is for SD users only and the screen shot is also for SD users. Not trying to knock the OP in anyway.
Ya, I know it must be something simple. I'll figure it out when I try again. As for the Wiimotes becoming unsynced, it was because I was using a brand new 'mote that wasn't synced at the time of the NAND dump.

For anyone wondering if they can delete the news channel and other default Wii channels - I did and Triiforce still works.

    I have cIOS 249 rev 17.
    SD card.
I did install games, 100% sure. My nand dump had games too.
I'm using the Auto SD card version, if it matters.

    Please help me >>..

Edit: Oh, I didn't read the first one correctly. Not the nand folder, it's contents. OK XP
Wait, I tried to run Bit. Trip Void, it goes to the health menu and black screen. Why doesn't it work? Bit. Trip Beat works though..
Edit 2: Bit. Trip Core dosen't works either..
I have the exact same problem here, i tried some different methods of dumping the nand and to redo my softmod, cleaning up the nand-dump.... and stil a lot (the majority) of games wont work. they just blink green and go black. Like Orel void and core wont work but bit.trip beat does work.

    I have cIOS 249 rev 17.
    triiforce running from usb.

    found it.

Bit. Trip Core Works works using usb NAND, but a save file is needed on the usb NAND, otherwise it will not work

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around or maintaining this guide lately. I've been pretty busy lately with life and what time I have for the Wii involves actually playing it for a change! Amazing, they are as fun to play as they are to mod!

It looks like all this triiforce_mrc_ss business got the ball rolling on the development of triiforce again which is nice to see. Sometime when I have more time, I will have to test out some of the latest versions of triiforce and maybe actually update the guide!

Hi, thanks for this gude. I am however having issues getting it to work. I am getting the no title found error. it says:

Error could not get dir entry count! result -1
    reading folder /title/00010001 failed
    error getting the title list

I have looked at the faq and i have checked each one and read many pages and have found no solution. I am using cios rev 19(tried 14 and 17) and doing USB only load.
