    DLC (rb2, gh5, etc)

    Hi,

Didn't have a problem getting a bunch of WADs running from my external USB HD using triiforce. Good stuff.

The next step for me is getting DLC running from my triiforced HD partition. I'm pretty stumped and I have a strong feeling it can be done somehow.

The problem I'm having is getting RB2 to read from the triiforce nand.

Has any one attempted this or been successful in doing so?

I googled a bunch and found some people claiming to have done it but aren't saying how. I also found some stuff on people talking about trying to get it to work themselves with no luck.

What do the people here at wiihacks think?

Edit: Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero 5, DLC, downloaded content, rawksd

well i have installed triforce and having some issues. I downloaded some wad files. Super Mario 1, 2,3. They are wad files. NES wad files . I tried to load them in triforce and it went to green screen and does not look like wii froze but not 100 percent sure. I have 2 gig sd card. I have 4.2 u wii. Any help appreciated and if you can get it working . I do send to paypal hint hint.

I do not understand what I am doing wrong but i had to think about this. How do i add the wads to the emulated nan ? Maybe i did not do that ...

Hey messie, did you ever get games going from your USB HDD? Were you able to launch the GUI when you selected USB NAND emulation from the Triiforce channel? Did you have to do anything different to your SD card to get it to go?

This would be awesome! (If could add the steps to get triiforce working on HDD to the guide.) Great job on what you have already. It's appreciated.

do you happen to have any idea which cIOS would be needed for triiforce to work for me?

Okies, much thanks : ) I'll probably get around to making a forwarder channel with the Auto SD Load *.dol sometime soon. And, in regards to "oppopp"s trouble with the GC controller. I have ran both Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Zelda: Majora's Mask from triiforce, and both responded with my GC controller. (Although, as an aside, Majora's Mask does take a while to load past the N64 logo). Let me know how the GC control thing goes : )

I'm having a weird problem with triiforce. Everytime I load a wiiware or vc game in triiforce it just brings me back to the wii system menu. All my games show up fine with images within triceforce. I'm using triiforce_mrc v7 with auto sd load boot.dol and forwarder. SD Card is a nintendo wii sandisk 2gb. Any ideas why this is happening? I also have cios 249 rev14 installed.

Note: is it true that triforce doesn't boot wads? I have all my wiiware games on my sd card not on the wii at all.

Ok, as for the required cIOS, this is the one I am using: Install cios249.rar

this is the one from the 4.2 hacking guide. The password to download the file is www.wiihacks.com

I'm going to give mario 2 and 3 a try. I have a couple things I want to test.

update: Mario 1 and 3 VC, wad ripped with wad2nand and copied to the ticket and title folder of my SD card is working just fine.

I used the channel provided and a channel I created using Wadder, and have different troubles wiith each. However each game I've tested has worked fine, with the exception of *.wad's that I've created myself, through injection or otherwise (eg. MPlayer CE forwarders, Duck Tales VC) these load and go to black screen. Additionally, another problem I encounter occurs with those VC games that run in 60Hz only (I'm running System Menu 4.1E). Games like Super Mario RPG and Ninja Gaiden just freeze the Wii at a black screen.

mmoore5553, did you have these three mario games installed to your wii before dumping your nand, or did you install them by using wad2nand and then copying the ticket and title folders to the ticket and title folders in the root of your sd card?

kensai D, what problem are you having with the forwarder? The only problem that seems to happen is that the forwarder is designed for the original triiforce so it looks for the triiforce_MRC .dol file in the SD:\apps\triiforce folder. Make sure your folder is not named triiforce_MRC in the apps folder.

Also, I have never tried running an app from triiforce. I have only tried wiiware and vc games. I suppose WiiFlow shows up, I believe because i had the forwarder installed before I dumped my nand that I am using for triiforce.
