    2) I attempt to setup Parental Controls in Usbloader GX and it says I must enable them in wii settings, I tried that on the system menu and returned to Usbloader and set passwords as well but it seems to have ZERO effect... Any guides - walkthroughs for setting up Parental controls.

    3) lastly I have visited the game compatability charts and read a bizzillion posts on Guitar Hero 5, as of today with all the recent softmodding files I installed using the guides on this site, is it going to work?

Every game I have tried thus far (30 titles) has worked flawlessly, Wii Resort gave the 002 error the first time, I rebooted wii and it works great since.

    Benny-
    1. after you successfully completed your softmod you can accept the HBC update. No problem now with the update.
    2. I'm sorry, I don;t know much about the parental settings-can you try the link to USB Loader GX settings-WiiJohn discusses the settings in more detail and might even be able to help you as I he set up the priiloader to boot directly to USB Loader GX because of his kids.
3.GH5 should work-it does take some tweaking and some Wiis need different tweaks than others to get it working. If you installed Hermes IOS 222/223 that will help play GH5 with an instrument plugged in with USB HDD still working. Use IOS222 to load the game and good luck.

Rick, if the screen is black and white and flipping, you are playing an out-of-region game. Go into the settings menu of your USB Loader and change the FORCE video setting to whatever your Wii is. If your Wii is US then set to FORCE NTSC, if your Wii is European set to FORCE PAL.

Therefore, to add game ISOs that you downloaded because the original game discs are too scratched and damaged to use will be added to your HDD using WBFS Manager.

Download and install WBFS Mgr onto your PC HDD, note the PC requirements, OK? Startup WBFS Manager and refresh the drives, it should see your WBFS drive, select and LOAD that drive-the games you have already should show in the left-hand window. Now just follow the directions to locate the game ISOs on your PCC HDD and ADD them to your WBFS drive. Good Luck.
ok tried to do load mngr and it says my HD is not formatted and can't accept that file. any suggestions? or should i reformat and stat at the begining of this tutorial?
    thanks

    iso games

ok I'm confused now. Everytime I think i find a game I am going to add to my HD the WBFS mangr, I find the game isn't in the right form to load it. So where do I get the correct types of ISO games. the two I grabbed i thought were iso or rar but they don't show up and cant be loaded on my HD. What sites have legit ISO games that are free? thanks so much

I am going to be doing another wii in a few days and I will let you know if I have any similar problems.

I'm using Vista, I delete the drive or whatever and it says allocated or something and then I click new and go through the wizard thing and select do not format just like it says but it won't load in the WBFS manager. It says Error occured while loading drive. Make sure the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to WBFS format. After I click finish on the wizard and asks to format I've clicked yes and it just doesn't work and I click no and it won't load in WBFS. I've tried running WBFS as administrator but it still won't work. It said something about the drive being read only, I don't know how to change this. Someone help please. I'm not very good with computers. :S As if it weren't obvious. >.>
