    Sport Resort / Mario Kart

    Hi.

    I softmoded my WII with

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

    and have 4.1 sys menu.

New Super Mario and NHL 2k works fine, but I can't make Mario Kart and Sport resort to work.

I'm using Usb Loader (updatet to last rev.) and HDD WD 500 GB Passport.

    Mario Kart:

I start game, but it's stops at first screen with disclamer about " Put on and thighten the wrist trap"...can't go insed game..any button on remote work. Wii Remote is connected for sure!.

    Sport Resort.
I get a black screen. I read about to have right IOS, but as I understand all this softmod stuff, my softmod i made with upper link support almost all IOS version I need.

Is there any need to change ISO? I see that Sport Ressort use IOS 55, but in USB Loader under Disc options i can set just ISO 249, 250,255... Or I don't understand all this ISO stuff?

    Any help please?

    Luka

This worked great for me first shot. But I think i was doing too many things at once.

My problem is, I have usb loader as a channel and it works great...as long as the sd card is in. As soon as I take it out I get a dsi error and it reboots. (meaning with the sd card out it's still a channel, but I get that error trying to load games. Works fine as long as the card is in).

I'm sure this has been answered before and I might beable to figure out my mistake, but maybe somebody can point me in that direction.

    Thanks.

Edit: it works fine through neogamma but I'd like usb loader to work as well without the sd card in.....what did i miss?

Double edit: I think this was the wrong thread to ask this question in. sorry about that.

If you just recently softmodded using the 3.1-4.1 tutorial, you installed IOS55 in Step 5D. Some games need a bit more work to get to play from backups and those games tend to have lots of posts, threads, and even tutorials.

WSR is one of those games-make sure your have the motion plus device and then read here: http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...-resort-5.html.

Mario Kart doesn;t usually have too many problems as it doesn;t have a ovie requirement or an odd IOS-maybe just a bad ISO?

Some of the newer Wiis show odd issues with loader channels. Some refuse to install a loader as a channel wad, others do exactly as you report-require the SD to run as a channel. That, of course, means it really isn;t quite a channel in the full definition of the word. Not aware of the source of the problem yet, though. Sorry. I and, I'm sure others, are watching these issues.

    Hi!
Finally, I got the usb loader gx to work with 2TB WD My Book Elite.
I can only be able to play the game that I installed from my back up dvd.
But I can not be able to play the the game that I transfer using WBFSManager 3.0.
    I think missed something here.
I`ve tried neogamma. It displayed the title of the game. but when I click on it , it said no dvd (n).
    Thanks for this great tutorials!

USB Loader GX cannot work with partitions larger than 1TB.

You will need to partition your drive into 2 x 1TB partitions, use one for WBFS and load your games there.

    Should be fine then.

Did you mean patrition larger than 1TB can not work with WBFSManager?
Right now I have patrition at 1.5TB. I downloaded the game form my burned dvd-r to the same patrition using usb loader and it play fine.
I think there is some setting that I need to change but I don~t know what it is.
    Thanks for replied.

    No USB Loader GX.

I have a 1TB drive loaded with 180 games and all work 100%.

I modded my mates Wii and bought the needed hardware, the only difference was I got him a 1.5Tb drive (same brand WD).

using the 1.5TB drive the Wii just went back to the Wii menu when trying to start any game.

I unplugged his drive, used mine, and worked fine.

So then I partitioned his into a 1TB + 500GB Partition, used the 1TB for the WBFS and loaded all games again. All worked fine.

So my conclusion was partitions larger than 1TB, USB Loader GX isn't able to run properly.
