whats the best way of getting the covers on there and showing up?and is there anyway to do this through the pc?i noticed in the gx usb loader you can download the images but i would rather add them through the pc if possible
You can copy your images library from your PC either onto the SD card or onto a FAT partition on the HDD (the file structure has to match that of an SD card though i.e Apps, Wad, etc.)-change the path used for covers in the USB Loader GX settings menu-the settings are shown in the USB Loader GX video.

Are you using a HDD that you salvaged from a PC and placed in an enclosure? Sounds like your HDD either powers down or goes to sleep soon after bootup.

    Talking no probs, just props.

this is an awesome guide and not only that, just the notion of the usb loader is awesome. all we have to worry about is taking care of 1 harddrive over tons and tons of dvds. even finding verbatim or any other brand that won't fry ur lens is a pain in the ass. i think everyone and their mom should drop that old school dvd insertion crap and migrate over to digital. get ur games, back em up, and toss the dvds in a bin. i even hear ppl mentioning how many problems they got with CoD modern warfare on how it freezes and that 002 error - the day i got it on uloader i slaved the game until i beat it. not one problem. i used to have broken sword which never worked on disc and i got it on uloader and was able to beat it. it's like, who uses cds when we got mp3s. same difference.

Well, takes care of that question. Got it plugged into the outermost USB port and you did remember to designate the WBFS drive as Primary and Active, right?

If all is in order, then try a different revision of USB Loader GX, please. Also experiment with another USB Loader to see if the problem occurs with other loaders.

Key difference, my tone-deaf friend-MP3s compress the music digitally where CDs have a fuller audio range that can be discerned by audiophiles. In addition to fuller audio range is the issue of warmth-that's why audiophiles hang on to older equipment for the warmer sound of the phonograph record.

In the case of DVD vs HDD for game backups though, USB HDD is the better-faster load, faster spin equivalent for smoother play. This will only get harder for DVD discs with increasing video play into the games. Glad you are enjoying your Wii games using the HDD to load and play. Much more convenient and better play, too.

Yeah, i did designate drive as primary and active, at least i am 99% sure i did.
I also tried neogamma loader but there i get another error "no dvd" even when i mount my usb HDD and say to load a game form USB HDD, weird one if you ask me.

i just dont know what else to do

Let's reinstall cIOS, both USB and NeoGamma loaders use cIOS 249 and both had problems. Go back to your softmod tutorial and re-install a new downloaded cIOS38rev14 and try again.
